Harold Camping and the Seventh Day Adventist
Alright now i'm not saying Camping is a Seventh Day Adventist but his date setting is shockingly similar to that of William Miller.

Miller Predicted that between March 1843 and Marxh 1844 Christ would return through his study of the Bible. Well those two timnes obviously came and went but a follower Ellen G White said no no Miller wasn't wrong he was just off by a few months and reset the date to Oct 22nd 1844 which came and went and went down in history as The Great Dissapointment when Christ didn't return. Oh but wait the back peddling from the Adventist camp begins as White claimed that Christ did come back and went to another compartment of heaven and begain an Investigative Judgment in other words Christ came back spiritually and no one saw him.

Now on to Harold Camping. For many years those who have listend to Family Radio have heard Mr Camping claim that without a shaodw of a doubt May 21st is the End of the World. Well finally and predictably May 21st came and went with no worldwide Earthquake. Of course not willing to eat the crow served up to him Camping said that Christ returned and that Judgment Day is Spiritual or Invisible and there is no hope for salvation find a scripture to support Camping's current claim i'd be willing to bet money that you can't. Camping now claims that God will destroy everything on Oct 21st um here's a question October 21st where. Camping much like the Millerites did in 1844 refused to back down and admit defeat and out of self pride set a new date that i gurantee you will come and go much like 2012 will come and go or any other date man believes Christ will come will come and go. Man does not decide God's Will God will decide and anyone who belives Harold Camping, or anything about EOTW 2012 better wake up and stop beleving that now or your in for an even greater dissappointment then the Millerites.

Re: Harold Camping and the Seventh Day Adventist
Wrong about Ellen White. She received a vision that they were right about the date but WRONG about the event. Ellen White never predicted a date, she was only given a vision that Miller had the EVENT wrong, the "cleansing of the sanctuary" he thought meant was the coming of Jesus back to earth, when in fact it was Jesus moving from the Holy to the Most Holy Place in heaven.

Harold Camping despises the Seventh Day Adventist Church! He's made that clear more than once. Infact, Doug Batchelor, who's a well known SDA offered Camping money to buy his radio station before his failed prediction of the "rapture"... a theory which in and of itself is FALSE! Anyone who really reads and understands scripture KNOWS Camping was a false prophet. It's just a travisty so many believed the lies he was propogating .
