When I was in flight school for the Navy we had a f-16 make an emergency landing, came in way hot, missed both wires and tumbled off the end of the runway.

Pilot and several emergency fire crew had to be treated for Hydrazine exposure from instruments in the cockpit that broke in the crash.

ya its seriously fucking amazing the stories some people come up with especially when some of us (like me) happen to have a roommate who is part of the airguard on that air base, so i actually happen to know that not a damn thing is going on right now

This is absolutely bs. The jet did crash with that chemical on it, however evey jet has one it on them. It is used as emergency fuel to try to fly the jet away from a crowded area.

This doesn't qualify as doom unless you're in the area near the crash, and even then you're going to have to be pretty close.

For example, the Minot to Barksdale incident did not come out until weeks after the event.
