The 2 wiki pages take me to religions well after the Sumerians. Alot of the same symbols and ideas though. But very little explained well on those wiki pages. I need something more in depth to research.

Depends. are you one of those "Sumeria was super advanced civilization with planes and boats and was in constant contact with aliens"? Or a real historian who can see through the medias lies on ancient civilizations, AND the lies by psudeo historians?

I am of the mindset, that the sumerians knew something that is hidden from us. Beyond that, I have no firm position on the sumerians. I have read most of would I could find on sumerians, but the good stuff is hard to find. I usually find the good stuff from a link someone posts. Google never puts the "good stuff" on the first pages of a search.

Would love your viewpoint on the sumerians though.

You are quite correct to note that the events that created Sumer hold a major pivotal point in human history. I will attempt to provide as much illumination as you are capable of absorbing. I will provide a meager outline, then answer questions as time permits me.

First you must picture life on the Assyrian Plain prior to Sumer. Life was much different. Humanity there, as well as many places on Earth, was grouped in small primarily familial bands. Life was agrarian, as population pressure and personal security had already favored those that worked the land and tended live stock vs more nomadic lifestyles.

Wealth was measured primarily by security. Enough strength in group cohesion to defend water and land fundamental to agriculture and the tending of stock, which provided food security. Trade was taking place in the form of barter, regional foodstuffs, basic textiles, and metals, which were worth their utilitarian value as tools or trinkets.

The Sun was God, and there was a emerging priest/healer caste that was active in study of the heavens and medicine.

The pivotal break you are seeking is twofold.

Sargon, a Sumerian priest, worked out celestial mechanics to the point that eclipses could be accurately predicted. This is the central pivot. The priest class went from being true seekers of knowledge to "owning God", and if you doubted they could demonstrate their power over God. This juncture, with this knowledge was the first plank of power, power over the superstitious and uneducated.

The new found power now had a solid tangible force, as a soldier/police force could be organized, and civilization as we know it; on the 3 planks of control of (false) religion, control of money, and control of government thru violence of the Soldier/police any "elite" edict could be enforced.


Within this generation the course of humanity shifted. For the first time there was an "elite" class of humanity with secret knowledge that yielded power of those without the hidden knowledge.

The next break, in this same generation was the Priests of the Sun hammering out small disks of Gold in Gods likeness. These small holy relics of warm shiny incorruptible metal, intrinsically pleasing, bearing the disk of God became in great demand.

This changed everything, and instituted the Golden Rule; he who owns the gold rules. Wealth could now be stored, the concept of currency was started with attendant trade, which also gave the controllers of the currency much over over those that did not posses the desired Holy relics. This is the second plank of control by the same "elites" over the uneducated.

This was the start of the House of Accad. Incidentally I can trace my lineage directly to this House, as can virtually all of the current crop of those that you have labeled "elite".

Civilization started with Sumer, which you would define as the Sumerian Empire.

Babylon was founded on the ashes on Sumer, space dictates I avoid the reasons for the decay at this juncture, but it is important to note that all rulers of Babylon were from the House of Accad; had the same blood.

The third King of Babylon, Hammurabi, firmly established the concept of legality by publishing all Law, known today as the Code of Hammurabi. Compare the modern Uniform Commercial Code against the Code of Hammurabi and there you will see the Law of the Land, chapter by chapter, no matter what administrative, common, or bureaucratic laws that are enforced on you.

Nothing is fundamentally different today. The "elite control the morphed religions. While a Christian may disagree consider the evidence:

On the Day of the Sun a good Christian travels to a building adorned with a morph of the descending ray of Ra and the giant penis of Mithra, both solar deities. Then comes song, then prayers from the book that in Latin is "Biblios Helios" Book of the Sun, also known as the "Holy Bible". Then the victim prays to the Son of God, and concludes their supplications with "Amen" the deified Sun. Who is he really praying to?

The money now literally grows on trees since the Templar revolution, but bears marks of our House and typically human rulers; but the function, with its concealed power, is identical.

Government is as always; raw force disguised as something positive and worthwhile. While positive and worthwhile can be argued, understand the extent, the entropy of the concept being embedded on the human psyche, and the plain fact that civilization as we have known it requires it.

Same as it ever was, and it started in Sumer.

Very different view then most Sumerian "scholars" no aliens? no outside intervention? I have all of sitchins books. What is your take on Sitchin?

What is your approx date of the Sumerian civilization? If you have one that is.

Records exist outside the knowledge of contemporaneous scholarship; the only access is via "secret society".

Sitchin sells books, but has some interestingly correct points, especially regarding the evolution of Rome.
