I haven't read all the way through, yet, but I don't think I can stand it that long... do you remember this thread? A fungus...

Thread: 'OREGON CRUD' ... Radiation??????

They tell me that I tend to overthink things, but in a situation such as this, I say that there may be no such thing.

From a news-source-that-must-not-be-named (search for headline to find the source):

Headline: Rare infection strikes some in Joplin; death toll rises to 151

Health officials say flying debris from the tornado that tore through Joplin, Missouri, last month is to blame for an outbreak of a rare but serious -- and in some cases deadly -- fungal infection among some of the more than 900 people injured in the disaster.

Soil or plant matter on debris that penetrated the skin of some of the people who survived the twister is believed to have caused them to contract an infection called zygomycosis <snip>

"It's just an unfortunate side effect of the tornado," Williams said.

it seems VERY weird.

look, i know of a cure for a lot of this shit hitting us...something that is more effective than antibiotics...i'm afraid to say what it is though until i have run out and bought six more bottles.

it is not colloidal silver. it is MUCH stronger and effective.

you guys will probably laugh and not believe me, though.

but if your life depended on it, you might consider.

i cured MRSA with this shit.

afraid to say cause i know shills are watching, and the FDA is looking for the next ban....BUT IT WORKS.

i could post a new thread on it and have it be completely ignored...this is something none of you know about. i want to help, but in so doing, i don't want to limit or get the availability banned.

do you understand?

This is unrelated to fungus, but since you posters seem to know what you're talking about in regard to homeopathic healing...how about asthma? I have always had a monster immune system since about three years ago when I was (quite out-of-the-blue) stricken with chronic asthma and COPD. I am now allergic to just about every environmental allergen there is...ESPECIALLY DUST...I now have to take about $1500 worth of medication every month, like Symbicort, Spiriva and Singulair. The Singulair itself is about $300 and if I miss a dose of that I develop a really nasty cold. I HATE being on all of this medication. I have NEVER taken medicine for ANYTHING...I'm the type who has never even finished a round of antibiotics because the first dose usually cures whatever ailment I have. This asthma is debilitating and my asthma attacks last sometimes as long as two or three MONTHS. I am currently and hopefully at the end of a two-month long attack. Any suggestions?

You have to take the <s> out of the https to post links here.

What I mentioned about the cough and oregano oil happened years ago, and I took 3-4 soft capsules a day, along with about a gram (divided) of Vitamin C and eating lots of citrus and pineapple.

Hot showers can help (or hot baths) or sauna/steam baths. Mint teas and also the "gypsy" type cold teas, preferably mostly organic and domestic as the quality coming out of China is iffy.

I mentioned having boils at the same time, and this illness could have been a type of plague also. There was a type of cough going around known to last a month or more, in the Winter foggy climate along the ocean.

While antibiotics aren't supposed to help viral infections--that's what was given by doctors in the area, probably for secondary infections, I just did the oregano oil as above. I think I also took beta glucan for the immune boost.

One potential issue with any herbal treatment--and one should reference works like the one I linked to earlier, Medical Botany--is some people react badly to certain things, or if having pre-existing liver or kidney issues, so practitioner advice doesn't hurt.

Any time toxic effects are expected Milk Thistle can protect the liver, but any herbs mixed with medications should be gone over with a doctor or pharmacist for side effects.

Contribute content like this. Start here.

The Greene County (Mo.) Health Department has issued a memo to health care workers who are treating injured victims of May's deadly Joplin tornado, warning them that a powerful fungus has infected patients' wounds.

The Springfield News-Leader reports as many as nine cases have been reported in tornado victims across the area in various hospitals. Once the aggressive fungus -- called zygomycosis -- enters the body, it causes the death of infected cells. Three or four patients, who otherwise would have survived their wounds, have died from it.
