I use the lazy way with firefox, an extension called abc Tajpu:

because I couldn't get the alt+164 to work here and changing my keyboard seldom worked either. Likely that one has versions for other browsers by now.

If you're going to be writing with accents a lot, I would strongly suggest to enable other languages in your system. I run about 6 different language keyboards and they all have a formula for putting in the proper accents, which is as near as a google search, no matter what language you need, fortunately.

You want to save a snip as an html or something different, like bash html cutter for data extraction? What OS are you running?
