a) Depopulation - Only those who die of a heart attack after being out of work so long and being out of decent shape. Lots of construction would take place.

b) Moving ALL resources into the power and control of the rulers - MMmmm... Could be if the US Govt twists it that way, and they usually do.

c) Aggregation of diverse peoples in city/hubs, outside of the "Nature Reserves" - Absolutely

d) Wider usage of resources - Use of resources we already have (not oil though by design) like human capital, land, cash - and lots of construction.

e) And a high concentration of jobs which DO NOT involve advanced technologies, nor high intellect - Yep - and lots of them since a good 2/3 will be construction jobs if not more.

Still waiting for my email from the Govt.. guess will leave the tomato plants out for now.

Thats the compromises the Repubs would have to give in on, sure. So what could make the Repubs change course to go along with such a drastic move that would employ all of those 20 million PLUS millions more Americans?

Well there are always those who doubt until it happens I suppose. I have been that way at times too. When I stopped being an armchair general to seriously give consideration to an idea then the pros/cons reveal themselves and a decision can be made.

If the USA Govt wants to know how to drop unemployment while gearing up most of the world to drive out of this recession, all they have to do is ask.

Yes I believe you 100%, however if and when the desire to be re-elected outweighs what his handlers want then I imagine I will be hearing from someone. Lord knows the Govt watches all conspiracy sites like this so who knows.

And yes I am fully awake just throwing this out there in the event nObama wants to be re-elected. One fell swoop of a expenditure which both sides should easily approve will guarantee his re-election.

The answer is to offer to purchase from Mexico, from the 22nd parallel north to Americas southern boarder. Currently Mexico owes the USA 100 Billion dollars, and I am certain forgiving that amount and adding an extra 400 Billion for all that land would seal the deal.

If this were to happen, I would suggest granting amnesty to any Mexican citizen who wished to become an American Citizen who was north of the 22nd parallel when the change of ownership took place. Currently the unemployment rate in Mexico is 5%, and many current illegal Mexicans are going back to Mexico for work. This would add millions of taxpayers to our system.

The new land added could create new States, and the required governmental framework. Aution off the land to investors worldwide to recover much if not all of the purchase cost, and of course think of all the extra tax revenue which would flow into our Treasury.

Unemployment in the USA would drop dramatically as the new land was developed. Roads, bridges, power plants, sewers, office buildings etc would need to be built and the private investors of the world would salivate at developing the land. The stock market would experience a boom and all the taxes collected from all the activity would give you a annual surplus vs deficit as happened when the internet boom occured in the late 90's.


Mr. President, I realize the common thinking is no soverign country would sell any of their land, however as the leader of the greatest country in the world, you need not make the topic public unless Mexican President Calderon felt it were viable.

I have another idea.
Stop all the wars, bring home all the troops from abroad and close all the overseas bases (that would save about 1 Trillion per year) then get rid of the criminal central private banks (the fed)and refuse to pay back all the debt the USA owes them (as it is not legal debt) that would save a few Trillions)

The president needs to get rid of the federal reserve and create its own currency and allow us to borrow it INTEREST FREE. Just like Lincoln did during the civil war and what JFK attempted to do, before they were both assasinated for it.
