I went to the Canaries recently and stayed in a very good hotel. There were plenty of Germans, a lot of Spanish and quite a few French; wonderful people, wonderful food in a wonderful location - all-in-all a fantastic holiday.
To be honest I was quite pleased that there were not many Brits around, but not half as pleased that there was not a single over-bearing, loud mouthed asshole demanding attention the whole time I was there… I truly pity your fellow diners!
