Speaking entirely from experience, I like the Americans I've met who are Ivy League educated, or from the New York/Boston area, or Californians with a decent education. They're generally smart, funny and have a good no-bullshit attitude.

The Americans I despise are the schlubs from the mid-West (idiots from Wisconsin top the list), ultra-fat and ultra-stupid Alabamans and most Arizonans.

So my liking of Americans runs entirely along class and wealth lines. Those with education, culture and money are fun to be around. As for the untermenschen, give me a break!
