Hey Gardeners in the Northern Hemisphere! THE OFFICIAL GARDEN MUTANT THREAD
Have you seen any mutant plants in your yard this year that cannot be attributed to diseases or pests?

If you have one, please tell us the area your mutant was found and post a pic.

LOL...this should be interesting. You do know plant malformatives are very common. Most are caused by nutrient deficiencies in the soil.

Same here in Ontario Canada......lots of moisture, adequate heat, and a little more co2 means phenomenal growth, especially the perennials.

My thoughts exactly....will be hard to prove that they are caused by radiation.
10 or 20 years from now its the people and animals that consume these crops that we need to worry about.

We didn't plant a garden this year, seems to have been a good decision considering we have a severe drought here in Texas. We would have had to water too much. But I can say, the yard is brown and brittle, even the weeds are dying.

Hi ACs
Why debunk the thread before it has even started? The people I want to hear from in this thread first are those who think they have a garden mutant and want to post a pic. After there are pics of the possible mutants, I welcome any evidence that the mutations are in fact caused by a disease or pest rather than mutation. You were quick to dismiss this topic before seeing any examples. Let there be some evidence presented first before you proceed to try and debunk, if you please.
Best,
Tigresse

I think there's a good chance the dandelion might be the most likely to be the plant we see the most mutations in. They grow so fast and are ubiquitous. The lady who documented the Three Mile Island mutant plants had lots of double-stemmed dandelions and dandelions with gigantism. Sounds pretty freaky looking. Could you post a pic?
