Project Gunrunner hearings start today ya?

When the news broke that project gunrunner had spiraled out of control (or had it?), there was little more than a few blurbs in the media. Basically, the ATF was allowing buyers to purchase assault weapons in the United States and ship them to drug cartels in Mexico. You saw that right. The idea was to ostensibly expose the smuggling operation and bring it all down in one fell swoop. That’s not how it worked out. Instead, the cartels were able to purchase guns carte blanche, and the result has been scores of deaths across Mexico, and even a few of our own. Border agents have been killed with these guns-traceable due to the nature of the operation. Our border agents are armed with bean bag guns and are facing down cartel thugs with automatic weapons, courtesy of the Obama regime. You saw that right.
