Why Don't People Understand that Too Many Tattoos Make Them Look Trashy?

"Cool" in Satan's world, is an abomination in the eyes of God. Which is one reason He commanded against tattoos, and various other forms of pop-culture garbage.

You are right... Tattoos have been around a LONG time. And originated with cultures who also happen to be neck-deep in all kinds of obviously demonic ceremonies, as well as trances and drugs.

Tattoos in the Greek, are described by the word "Stigma", which literally translates to, "Mark of shame".

And I suppose that it's just a coincidence that virtually ALL prisoners and criminals have them. Right?

tattoos and the body mutilations - piercings - are a remment from being slaves - from before recorded time - how slaves were marked - and they identify you - much better to be able to slid by invisible - and being marked you attract the thoughts of others - not always a good thing - just sayin

I'm honestly shocked at how shallow some people on here are and how quickly they judge others, but i mean everyone is entitled to their opinion but the generalizations on here are quite appalling...I don't know, maybe it's just my point of view, but if you don't have anything positive or nice to say then why even say it at all?

Speaking of hearing tones, has anyone here heard those series of tones--not from your ears, but from the middle of your forehead. It sounds very much like the digital tones that started and ended cassettes during the eighties. I've only known one other person who has experienced this phenomena.

First off, I don't get this whole tattooed versus not tattooed sentiment. It is kinda dramatic with very little objective thinking here.

Tattooed people: You know when you got a tattoo that you were adding your name to the list of people who choose a secular or alternative life style. You know you are being set apart from the religious and clean cut, so why are you surprised that people acknowledge this?

Non-tattooed people: The tattoos people have today for the most part are not even comparable to those of the past done with homemade needles and blue black ink, so quit pretending they are the same. This disgust many of you express is disturbing like you just can't wait to find someone to hate. If you open your eyes you will see that many girls tattoos are really pretty. I can't muster the effort to care about male tattooing :P

But some are really ugly, that's the way things are... I fully understand the hiring concept. I just think that many tattooed young people are so immersed in their own local clique's culture that they do not see how the world sees them outside it. This generation's tattoos are a part of secular pop culture.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... I think it's more like a "fuck you" to people like you who actually judge people on their appearance. :)

But even if your premise was correct (which it isn't), a tattooed person could praise god and take a dozen showers a day - and they would still look filthy.
