They know how bad Cycle 24 is going to be. Its going so to be so intense that it will change all future cycles. Quoting: xnibiruxCurrently, the sun is in the midst of the period designated as Cycle 24 and is ramping up toward the cycle's period of maximum activity. However, the recent findings indicate that the activity in the next 11-year solar cycle, Cycle 25, could be greatly reduced I'm not sure where you are getting that 24 will be more intense than a normal cycle. Where does it say that? |

Anyhow, like I stated in the other thread. The change is a complete change in this side of the Universe --- It is not just the earth or the near by planets this whole side of the Universe is and will continue to vibrate/shake/move release magnetic-particles causing major changes... If tptb want to continue their games they need to move their asses out of this side of the Universe (good luck with that) your mars and stations will not prevail... just the opposite it will help squeeze the parasites out quicker with all the crap they keep putting on it. It's like when a airplane is to heavy and you start dumping stuff out so it can manuver and get through well --that's what is happening --dumping dumping dumping --- ribbon in the sky is cleaning house -everywhere -- I think of it as a big tornado but with more control over it's force and release |

Jan. 10, 2008: Hang on to your cell phone, a new solar cycle has just begun. "On January 4, 2008, a reversed-polarity sunspot appeared—and this signals the start of Solar Cycle 24," says David Hathaway of the Marshall Space Flight Center. [link to science.nasa.gov] May 8, 2009 -- Solar Cycle 24 Prediction Update The Solar Cycle 24 Prediction Panel has reached a consensus decision on the prediction of the next solar cycle (Cycle 24). First, the panel has agreed that solar minimum occurred in December, 2008. This still qualifies as a prediction since the smoothed sunspot number is only valid through September, 2008. The panel has decided that the next solar cycle will be below average in intensity, with a maximum sunspot number of 90. Given the predicted date of solar minimum and the predicted maximum intensity, solar maximum is now expected to occur in May, 2013. Note, this is a consensus opinion, not a unanimous decision. A supermajority of the panel did agree to this prediction. [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] |

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. The announcement today does NOT say cycle 24 will be particularly intense, but some of you are saying, "Oh, but that's what they MEAN." If you are just going to apply your own reality to anything you see or hear, what's the point in even reading these articles or listening to what any of the "experts" say about anything? |

Whether it is disinfo or not is still up for debate, but the articles are clearly stating that that cycle 24 could have a reduced or non existent maximum. They are definitely NOT stating it will be more intense. |

Solar Cycle Prediction (Updated 2011/06/01) The smoothed aa index reached its minimum (a record low) of 8.4 in September of 2009. Using Ohl's method now indicates a maximum sunspot number of 70 ± 18 for cycle 24. We then use the shape of the sunspot cycle as described by Hathaway, Wilson, and Reichmann [Solar Physics 151, 177 (1994)] and determine a starting time for the cycle by fitting the data to produce a prediction of the monthly sunspot numbers through the next cycle. We find a starting time of May 2008 with minimum occurring in December 2008 and maximum of about 59 in June/July of 2013. The predicted numbers are available in a text file, as a GIF image, and as a pdf-file. As the cycle progresses, the prediction process switches over to giving more weight to the fitting of the monthly values to the cycle shape function. At this phase of cycle 24 we now give 40% weight to the curve-fitting technique of Hathaway, Wilson, and Reichmann Solar Physics 151, 177 (1994). That technique currently gives highly uncertain (but smaller) values. [link to solarscience.msfc.nasa.gov] |
