The world wide governmnets use people as cattle+voting machine; they look at you as a subhuman, brainless idiot (their point of you not mine)...so why would they give anything to the voting cattle? They'll never offer advanced technology for Humanity; in the contrary, they want to REDUCE the amount of humans, not increase it with galactic tech. (free-energy, nano-replicators for clothes, food...it wouldn't give any profit!)
