I for one felt really bad for it as Animals have nowhere to go anymore where there are not too many people and Cars running them over. The Mountain Lion was a Gorgeous Creature. |

Stop leaving temptations out for wild animals ! 1- cover the trash cans with lids 2- dont leave food out on the porch for the dog 3- dont leave the dog in the backyard, or if that is not an option, then dont have a dog. 4- keep your dog on a leash when you let it out, thats what they were made for. 5- dont let the friggen cat out. Cats do not NEED to go outside, FFS ! Thanks |

Sounds like it was a dumb cat to me? Just being honest. You are a little off your rocker in my opinion. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 762964I didnt write that, that's the headline. They're kind of happy about it, it seems, as they say it's been in the area, and eating pets and stuff. the person driving the SUV, probably aimed for it. People act like predators as above or black bears and such should be in our midst. Even deer are a menace and have a good chance of slamming through your windshield and killing you. As for me I say kill um all. Thank God that I live in the great Republic of Texas and I'm far away enough from regulators and with enough land that I pick these varmints off as I desire. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 965819I hate cougars, not one of them is eatin my chickens! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Connecticut Dept. of Environment The Eastern mountain lion was declared extinct in March by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, but it looks like one hardy cat may have been keeping his species alive in the wilds of Connecticut. Or maybe it was just a different subspecies of mountain lion that escaped or was released by some sick bastard illegally keeping him as a pet. Either way, the kitty was killed by an SUV Saturday morning. But are there more out there? Residents of fancy Greenwich, Connecticut and other towns have been reporting sighting mountain lions for weeks, and despite the death of this one, Greenwich police continue to receive reports of the ferocious felines. But authorities are urging citizens to remain calm, and they've decided that this was the only mountain lion roaming around. "DEP continues to believe that the animal killed in Milford was indeed the one seen in Greenwich," DEP Deputy Commissioner Susan Frechette told reporters yesterday. "Until we have something that we can really go on — a fresh paw print, a photo — we will go on the assumption that there is only one." [link to gothamist.com] YOU make me sick! I wish something WOULD slam through your windshield and kill you! The world would be a better place. |
