Pretty much all retailers test for drugs. They need dependable people that can do the job competently. It is in their best interest to weed out the druggies. If you can't stop using drugs long enough to pass the test, they really don't want you.

I used to be a regional manager for DolGen (Dollar General)

this was about 5+ years ago.

I drug tested the store manager, asst manager and the third key upon hire and randomly after that. If there were thefts of money or any other incident, there was an immediate drug test.

Regular stockers/cashiers were not drug tested at that time.

Though they could be drug tested at any time.
