OP, dunno if you play chess. I do, and I was interested in your thread because of my playing of chess.

Time figures into chessplay, things called "tempos"...you can gain/lose a tempo or more in the course of average play.

The really ODD thing is: you can FEEL this gain/loss. It's a very real feeling that's hard to articulate, but has been noted and mentioned in books on the game.

I'm here to say it feels EXACTLY like the feeling one has when one perceives a timeline shift.

Anyways, Time's a wondrous thing, and the Buddhist way of looking at it is worthwhile considering more deeply.
