My sister died last Christmas, but we talked to her last night.
My sister had passed away just before Christmas last year, her heart stopped and she just collapsed without saying anything, she was only 26 years old and never got a chance to live a full life.

but last night something strange happened, my grandpa (who my sister was attached to)got a call from a private number at 3:00 am, when he answered he said "hello, who is this?" and he heard a girls voice on the phone saying "I love you grandpa, and I miss you." he tried to get more from the call but the call just cut out after that.

I believe, and something tells me that was my sister trying to contact us, but I don't know what to think...

Has anyone else had anything similar happen to them?

Re: My sister died last Christmas, but we talked to her last night.
my best friend's sister died about 6 months before I met my friend. My friend was bereft.

over the years, I saw thousands of tears as she mourned her loss. She had a jewelery box with nothing too special in it of her sisters, which she looked through very often. There was a scrap of paper in there, and one time, the scrap of paper had writing on it. It said Hi, Jo!

Yes, after my grandparents died, they called on the phone in a similar manner.

there was a death in my family on two seperate occasions where then next few days afterwards, we would receive countless phone calls from an unknown caller on our caller id. as soon as we would pick up the phone, it would disconnect. the best part is our phone service blocked phone calls if you blocked your number from our caller id.

Re: My sister died last Christmas, but we talked to her last night.
When we were kids, my brother and I had a bulletin board in our room, and one time a picture appeared mysteriously on it. When I was 10, my bother 12, his best friend died in a car accident. About six months later a picture of my brother and his friend appeared on the bulletin board. It was a picture from another of their friends 'friendship book', a project they had done in school the year before. We asked our Mom and Grandma if they had gotten the picture and put it there, they didn't know what we were talking about. We then asked the other friend if he still had the picture in his book, he did. To this day we don't know how that picture got there, as there would have been no extra copy, and no one we knew, knew anything about it.
