"I would buy", good lord people WTF is up with the need for stuff?

Um....it's MONEY and that's what you DO with it?

Every time you are using it-you are buying something, whether
it's land, peace, war, food, education, etc. It's a medium
of exchange, nothing more.

Okay so you make a good point. Let's take this a little further. What if all Hell broke loose and money was no longer a means of exchange. It is just man helping man. Really giving, do you think all these people saying they would do this and that for a stranger would view giving in the same way? The best thing everyone would have to offer is love, not physical stuff and outrageous charity because stuff is just stuff. Can't take it with you when you die.

If all hell broke loose,
labor would become the medium of exchange until a new form of
exchange is formed. I am not saying that people would not perform acts of charity expecting nothing in return because many would,

but continually laboring for another without any
return is untenable. Whether through 'love' or 'self interest
the medium is the same.
Fantastic response! Thank you
Stuff is just stuff, but stuff can be tools and tools have a
value for the 'work' saving that they represent. Take a
hand drill for example. It a thing, but I can bore a hole with it faster and more uniform than digging it out with a sharp rock.

Stuff isn't the problem. It's peoples acquisitive natures'
that continually demand MORE.

I personally have enough to take care of and do
not need anything more.

Which is why I said I'd BUY my neighbor a house.
Hers probably should be condemned, and she works 3 jobs
and takes care of her sick husband. I would like to see
her be able to come home to a decent place.
