I guess the first thing I want to answer is; "Why did I post this?". That part is easy. And this I give a highlight to the folks behind GLP. This medium everyone shares their thoughts on is pretty unique. You see so many people from all over the world coming here. They come to inform, ask questions, be silly, vent, ect. Many would believe that everyone is bound together here because of the conspiracies, or the rooted fascination with doom. But not I. I see something else in it all. And that is why I started this tread, And what that is I will tell you later on in this response. So first and foremost, I just want to direct this to the GLP staff. You have a great thing here, with a lot of power and something that can do a hell of a lot of good. I believe in GLP, and good on you all.

I have read through every post, word for word. Some have been funny. Like the fancy hookers and a 3D TV response. Or the others saying they would burn it all because it means nothing anyway. I sat here making notes, remembering names, and as the posts continued through page 5 then 6, on into 10, I started to see a pattern. Some straight out said they would be happy with a fraction of a 5Mil, others had great ideas they would love to put in to play, in hopes that it would do such great things it would change others lives.
Some said they wanted to break free from control, start something that helps them be more self sustaining, and at the same time teach and benefit others with it.

The ones that shared their true hardships. Loosing their homes, or the desire to do something really good for their parents and kids. Those are the ones I watched closely. Not because it is a sob story, but because of the attitude of the poster. You get a small snippet as to how rough things are, yet you see this brilliant light under it all. They haven't given up, they may be down but not out for the count. Then along with those that are fighting, others came with words of encouragement. From what I have read I even noticed that some found out they were close neighbors and share the same thoughts. Kinda cool to see that in that case, you both may have found an extra helping hand for each other, in each other just because of this post.

Some have simply said thank you for giving them the chance to say these things. To express their dreams or share their hopes and in some cases, they even said because of it they feel more focused as to what they should be doing. You see, its easy for the world to slowly and quietly slip a hood over our head that cuts off our senses. Our drive and ambition, to numb us with the illusion that we are actually living when in fact we are not. We have been sedated. So for those that suddenly feel that their sails have been somewhat filled again because you were able to share the things you want to do with life, do not let those sails be void of wind. Stay focused on it. Yeah, it is hard, it is really hard. And sometimes you feel like you will never get there, but the truth is, nothing worth it is ever easy.
In one post the person said that if it wasnt for their kids, her and her husband would have just given up by now. For that I say to you; "DO NOT EVER GIVE UP." If you are just fighting for the sake of the kids, then you are not doing any favors to them. I am not trying to be harsh here, so please dont take it that way. But I am saying, this. Fight for your self, your mate, your kids, your parents, your friends, and hell, for all the people that have posted here. Even if all some want are a fancy hooker, fight for them to. (Haha) In my experience I have learned that any saturation of doubt, of defeat, it spreads like cancer. You may not see it outright, or feel the sharp pain, but it kills things around you. So in short. Don't give up.

Health. Living, dieing. These are the hard ones. So many people die because they can not afford something. A treatment or a drug. Sometimes because someone didnt have enough pieces of paper something has gone un-discovered and its too late to treat. Or at least makes it harder. You can look all around the world and find this. And frankly it makes me sick. If we have the ability to cure, or treat, then it should be freely given. Sadly though the world machine is a monster. And the rules of that monster are forged with something that can not be broken easy.
Although, just from this post alone I saw ways to help some people that are in a situation, but I have to think on it some more. As miss ronni asked, "Why not break it up and help lots of people." Well sadly that is a hard one to do just because of the Tax and other legal stuff that sometimes arises. (Trust me their are many.) It is much better to just give a big lump, make sure taxes are paid on that lump and walk away with the hopes whom ever will really do some good for them, and others.
Also lets say the person that is giving away a big chunk of Cha-Ching wants to do it as under the radar as they can,a big bit is better, faster, and if done right; "Quiet"

I still want to see what happens on this post. I will keep reading each and every one. I will say that I think I have made up my mind on something and other ideas are still forming. But I want to let you know, something like this isnt easy to do, to make a choice but when one is, it will be quiet, but you will know when it happens.

For $1,000,000 I'll run butt naked across the golf course next time Obama is having a male bonding weekend with the republicans! Or GLP'ers can make a team of idiots and we can all do it at once and split the pot! If you've watched Jurassic Park you can see that clearly the secret service cannot catch all the prey if they are flocking together then running erratically.

I get very little social security and no medical ins. I have medical problems but still have to work hard and my car is old and worn out. I would pay off my house buy a nice but cheap car, go to the Doctor and get my proper meds. pay in advance for my funeral bills and invest the rest so I would have income til I died. I would not try and live rich, I have never been rich why start now but I would, within reason, try to help others. I do not smoke, drink or do drugs so I would not wasre money on that stuff.But My gaurdian angel is on coffee break and has been since I was born...lol

I know it is too late but I thought about what I would have did with the money.

I just watched the movie Pay It Forward a couple of weeks ago and the idea in the movie has made an imprint in my head.

I would give a 1 million each to three people and they would have to have the do the same. They keep 40% and give 3 people 20%.

So at every level the person receving the money keeps 40% and gives away 60%. (20% each to 3 different people)

The key is to give more than you receive.

This is how the final distribution of the money would ending up looking like:
