KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Weather Service urged people west of Interstate 29 in Holt County, Mo., to evacuate after a levee breach in the area late Saturday. Officials said Levee District No. 10 reported a failure due to wind-driven waves. They said they expected flood water to reach Big Lake by midday Sunday. A flash flood warning in the area was issued until 10 a.m. Evacuation orders in the area have been in effect for several days now, but authorities said anyone who was still in the area should get out.
