The Chinese Intervention

3 November 1950-24 January 1951

They came out of the hills near Unsan, North Korea, blowing bugles in the dying light of day on 1 November 1950, throwing grenades and firing their "burp" guns at the surprised American soldiers of the 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. Those who survived the initial assaults reported how shaken the spectacle of massed Chinese infantry had left them. Thousands of Chinese had attacked from the north, northwest, and west against scattered U.S. and South Korean (Republic of Korea or ROK) units moving deep into North Korea. The Chinese seemed to come out of nowhere as they swarmed around the flanks and over the defensive positions of the surprised United Nations (UN) troops. Within hours the ROK 15th Regiment on the 8th Cavalry�s right flank collapsed, while the 1st and 2d Battalions of the 8th Cavalry fell back in disarray into the city of Unsan. By morning, with their positions being overrun and their guns falling silent, the men of the 8th Cavalry tried to withdraw, but a Chinese roadblock to their rear forced them to abandon their artillery, and the men took to the hills in small groups. Only a few scattered survivors made it back to tell their story. The remaining battalion of the 8th Cavalry, the 3d, was hit early in the morning of 2 November with the same "human wave" assaults of bugle-blowing Chinese. In the confusion, one company-size Chinese element was mistaken for South Koreans and allowed to pass a critical bridge near the battalion command post (CP). Once over the bridge, the enemy commander blew his bugle, and the Chinese, throwing satchel charges and grenades, overran the CP.

As a Taiwanese, I believe China may attack Taiwan some day, but I don't believe China dare to attack the soil of US unless the west use secret bio-weapon (genetic-oriented disease) or control the oil supply to eliminate Chinese population first.

For most times in history, China don't desire to rule the world. In the 15th century, China already had advanced ships that sailed to the eastern coast of Africa, but Chinese never felt the need of colonization (and the slavery of African natives of course). Chinese like to fight with each other because everything they need (power, money, labor, women, mansions) come from China itself.

You can find many Chinese work like ants for 20-30 years to buy a house in a city, and no one feels that it is stupid! Although people from Hong Kong and Taiwan can also speak English, most of them still choose to work hard in their hometowns instead of migrating to other countries.

Yes, China may need to get more resource for survival. Do you know virtually all natural resource are controlled by western countries? MSM keeps saying China has Rare Earth. Actually Rare Earth is the only resource China controls due to the pollution of mining, but all the rest are controlled by the West. For example, the biggest four food companies monopoly international food trade, and they are all American companies.

No matter how much China wants more resource, China doesn't want a big war with US. They already have everything, and they want to maintain the status quo. The war with the US will ruin the good life of Chinese elites. (For example, some family members of the Communist Party controls the Chinese financial and energy industries)

You Americans don't really understand the mindset of Chinese. In NO WAY Chinese hate Americans, American culture is everywhere in China. Actually Chinese envy Americans! Many Chinese are proud to get married with white people.

I can also assure you that 99% of Chinese have no idea how evil the Anglo-Saxon elites are . I'm afraid that they will suffer the most in the coming times.

Who won the War?

That is false. Although China has a population that could, potentially activate for service an Army of 200 million soldiers, that is almost 100 times the current Active Military in China.

The current active duty Military is 2,255,000 and some change. According to statistics updated 2008. So unless it's grown 198 million since then, the 200 million number is way off.
