The current active duty Military is 2,255,000 and some change. According to statistics updated 2008. So unless it's grown 198 million since then, the 200 million number is way off.

A cease fire was declared and they established a demilitarized zone. Technically the war isn't over. You can make up any scenario that works for you(and you are) but facts are facts.

Would the United States allow us to go out to gain new living space? In the 15th century, China already had advanced ships that sailed to the eastern coast of Africa, but Chinese never felt the need of colonization (and the slavery of African natives of course). Mostly I agree with what you wrote. But many Chinese, especially the well educated who are influential, "remember" the Opium War of 1840 well, and the 150 year occupation of Hong Kong which ended less than 15 years ago. They do know how the Anglo Saxon elites are.
