Well... Beauty is only skin deep. I can't imagine what that dating site is like; all of these vain, superficial people trying to go on dates win eachother ha ha ha!

Well let's be honest here.

Beautiful people want to date other beautiful people. Ugly people should stick with ugly people.

It's not about being mean, it's about knowing your place.

Why don't the ugly folks set up a dating site for other ugly folks. I doubt the beautiful people will mind at all.

No, it's an avatar. Lots of people do not put their own picture in an avatar. I really liked the blinking, color-changing eyes. So I chose that as my avatar. I'm not on here trying to be attractive to anyone. I'm happy with what I have at home.

And I don't think that all beautiful people are superficial. There are many people who are indeed very attractive, but they don't let it consume their identity.
I'm assuming after reading the article that, the constiuents of that particular dating site, are pretty shallow. That's just how I imagine someone drawn to be a paying member of that type of website.

I highly doubt that if someone is very attractive they will accept anyone who is not or is not at their level of attractiveness. Also you could of chose another avatar rather than you someone who is very attractive. People who are naturally attractive almost always very judgmental and somewhat superficial.

It may seem shallow but if I was a very attractive man I would want to be able to have a membership where I could find other people who are attractive as myself.

this is one of those things that irritates you if you are young.

If you are young being told you are ugly stings you in the balls.


Once you get past the age of 40 most people dont give a fuck if they are pretty or ugly.

One thing I do get a kick out of as I get older.

The people obsessed over their looks, once they hit age 40, who freak out and desperately try to hang on to their looks and try to pretend they are still young.

Watching the corn ball women in NYC and LA, age 45, try to dress like they are 15.

That and seeing the woman who at age 25 could make every guys head turn and lust over her, now at age 45, and no guy looks twice.

this is the best part of getting old.

It's been proven in many experiments that if I good looking women is seen in trouble many people will try to help her versus if it was someone unattractive most people would ignore this person.

Just because you're "attractive", does'nt mean you would'nt be attracted to people who are'nt considered "attractive"

Seriously. Would you date someone who is not attractive if you knew that you were very attractive? Whenever I date I would always try to go at someone who is at my level. I can't see myself dating someone who is uglier than me.

I doubt that in a long run your relationship will last. Trust me I have tried and when it comes to sex, if a person I date has a good heart but not very attractive to me I will not be very passionate in that department.

This is the part where people of society, hypocrites that they are, would typically label you as "superficial."

Fact is, not everyone is a hypocrite and not everyone fits the "superficial" label.

Our culture of "You can be 300 pounds and still be beautiful" is BS. Skinnies literally work their asses off to stay in shape. I myself am about 20 pounds away from my ideal weight, and I've lost 20 this year. It's taken a lot of what was at the beginning, sacrifice, and I expect my hard work and results to be rewarding and not bunched up with those who still enjoy ho-ho's and golden brown foods. Fatties who sit on their asses watching TV all day and making excuse after excuse for not working out do not deserve the benefits given to those who invest the time and effort to look good.

This can all be a good thing, too. Some of people's biggest changes come from a reality check. With the exception of health risks (in my case), every successful weight loss story involves the fatty hitting rock bottom when they see one of their pictures, or are turned down access to a flight or roller coaster ride.

Why am I superficial and why am I a hypocrite ? I am just being honest with you. Deal with it. I think you are just unable to accept reality. Ugly people will always mate with ugly. Good looking people will always mate with good looking ones. It's fact. Have you ever seen anything that is otherwise in nature? It's all about good genes.

I saw this episode of Dr Phil one time, with this super model looking woman.

She was one of these women I like to call a "Little Miss Sunshine"

Who goes around saying the air is wonderful, the sun is wonderful, the world is wonderful, people are wonderful, everything is wonderful, beauty comes within, yada yada yada.


And you try to tell them, Hey Sweetheart you just think everything is so wonderful because people are kissing your ass all day because they want to get in your pants.

Which usually makes them really offended.


Anyhow, Little Miss Sunshine was on Dr Phil explaining how beauty comes from within, and how wonderful the world is.

Dr Phil as an experiment put Little Miss Sunshine into a fat - ugly person suit. And sent her out in public, and after about 10 minutes oif people treating her like shit she broke down crying and started ripping it off and havign a fit.

She then went back to all the people who had treated her like crap and had to demonstrate how attractive she was.
