MM was an ex-prostitute. Do you compare yourself with such a woman in the first place? What about the other female followers? Have you no better modell of a genuine Christian woman in mind?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1442429

wether or not she was is besides the point..the point is that Christ is never quoted as asking her to cover her hair ..and we also have an episode that is SCANDALOUS according to the customs of that era..it couldnt have been done without a clear intention of slapping allthe hypocrisy in the face in my opinion..she knelt at his feet ND DRIED HIS FEET WITH HER HAIR..chuckle....

if you have ANY knowledge of the customs of that era you MUST understand the depth and meaning of such a gesture..it couldnt have been unintentional in my opinion

chuckle oh yes.. there must have been more to dear Mary than met the eye..and Jesus did not oppose the gesture or reprimand her in any way

This speaks volumes in my opinion..if you have eyes to see and ears to hear

;)
 Quoting: wildhoney

W.Honney, you are out of your mind and the good taste if you just for a second think MM was Jesus wife or alike. You people try realy hard to drag Jesus through the mire only to excuse your own failures in life. Disgusting.

But again, I am in no way surprised because you don´t know the bible and the high standards claimed by God for holiness in life.

But you prefere to remain in ignorance. Your choice.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1442429

I didnt say she was His wife..I have NOTHING to base that assumption on..it would just be a guess..and therefore worthless in info..what I do know..because I know history and customs of different periods and time..that the action of drying His feet with her hair was SCANDALOUS for that era..but dont take my word for it..do some research

peace
 Quoting: wildhoney

I know at least as much as you on the topic.

The point of mine was she had lived that way before, using inappropriate the human body - the temple of God. So Jesus allowed it out of mercy to her.

But it could not have come to mind of any pure woman. Hence don´t take her for an ideal. The women like her are destined for much suffering in their life, with Jesus or without him at their side.

yes, you can tell by the reaction of the apostles.
Christians have had to face and realize their own sins, and feel compelled to try and help others as well.

This chant of Holier than thou is wrong and is taught by others making you think what is cool or acceptable to them.

The thought of "believe as i do" is strongly in an unbelievers life, because they feel they will be ridiculed by their friends.

Every falsehood a unbeliver weilds, is merely a reflection of the obstacles that unbeliever must face from his very own peers.

Unbelievers are the true followers, they are dedicated to fear of what other people think of them.

And because of this, they are ashamed of themselves, but wall themselves up to feel comfortable and safe, assuring themselves with rationality and laughter.

Which is insanity!

but lets take a closer look at Mary..she actually had the ......to do thischuckle she must have known that it was scandalous..so much that they must have repeated it so often that it got into the Gospels..repeated it because it was unheard of

She knelt before the Messiah knowing who he was and did this.. with intent and maybe to send a message? she must have been an amazing woman..a woman of tremendous character personality and will..and quite a handful...lol..one of a kind

I think the whole message centers on her demonstration of her total surrender to Him.......going out on the limb, so to speak and as you pointed out, going against protocol to demonstrate her surrender to Him, thereby annointing Him through her tears which were at the time, the manifestation of the surrender of her soul.

WOW! THE LORD IS STILL INTO SABBATH IN THE NEW KINGDOM.THIS LAW THING IS VERY SERIOUS WOW!*WORSHIP ON THE SABBATH IN THE NEW KINGDOM*

I remember paul saying to the jews born in colosse and proselytes [jew converts] in colosse that they should not let no man judge them because of the new moon and the Sabbaths because it is a shadow of things to come and messiah is the sabbath...*This is so cool*

ISAIAH CHP 66
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
2 Pet 3:13 Isa 65:17

23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
Mark 9:44,46,48

1 But these took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt,
42 That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land.
43 And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow places of the river.
44 For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over.
45 For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth.
46 Then dwelt they there until the latter time; and now when they shall begin to come,

Romans 9:10 And not only so, but also when Rebecca had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, 11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad - in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of his call - 12 she was told, "The older will serve the younger." 13 As it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated." 14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

Re: THE BIG CHRISTIAN LIE ABOUT THE LAW NAILED TO THE CROSS
The levitial priesthood is for morals. The Melchezidek priesthood is for immortals.

Being cleansed by the blood of the Messiah Yeshua is referring to his immortal blood, not his mortal blood on the cross. That is why he symbolically will not drink of the blood of the new covenant until later, for it applies only to immortal beings.

The life is in the blood, as Torah explains. Thus, Eternal Life is in his immortal blood, which has power to create immortal bodies in the resurrection.

The full power of the law was offered to Israel though Moses, but they rejected Yahweh on the Mountain and asked for Moses to be a middle man, which was the cause of Israel's fall. The full law has the power to translate a human being into immortality without tasting death, but it requires an immortal being, such as Yahweh or Yahushua (Yeshua), to administer the law to unleash that power. This became impossible when Israel chose Moses, a human, to speak to them, instead of hearing directly from Yahweh face to face.

When Yahushua returns as the resurrected Messiah Ben David, He will build a temple (Ezekiel 40 to 48) and teach mortals about the power of immortality through full repentance. They will overcome death by the power of his immortal blood.

Christianity has misunderstood what the New Covenant is and how it relates to the Levitical priesthood and the first covenant. The first covenant teaches one to discipline the flesh as mortal, leading one into life within the Melchizedik priesthood and the New Covenant of the Messiah.
Jeremiah 30:34 is fulfilled in the resurrection. Then all will know Yahweh from the least to the greatest, and no one will need to argue and teach one another about him. With resurrected and immortal bodies, He will speak to us directly and we will then see clearly.

The two priesthoods are all one everlasting covenant--one priesthood for mortals and one for immortals. This is explained very clearly in the book of Hebrews. The priesthood is defined by the flesh of the high priest, whether he is mortal or immortal. Indeed, it even explains when the Levitical priesthood ends in Heb 9:10. The fleshly ordinances are to remain until the time of restoration. The Greek word is mistranslated as reformation. Restoration is correct. The word literally means when a broken bone is made straight. It is referring to the resurrection when the broken and dying human flesh is corrected and made straight again, like it was when Adam was created. Therefore, the levitical priesthood and its laws are to remain until the last human being is made into an immortal person. The earth will be changed into "new earth" without death in it, an immortal one, and then we will live in the "new" covenant designed for that kind of immortal race.

Re: THE BIG CHRISTIAN LIE ABOUT THE LAW NAILED TO THE CROSS
OP is 100% Correct HERE.
He's more Patient then me, I read 4 pages in went Arghh, another 40 odd Pages of Gods Holy Law Haters Well....

What does the Bible Say?

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12 (doesn't sound like the Ten Commandments are Gone?)

"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God,
and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17
(not here too)

"Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations;
that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you." Exodus 31:13 (Its God's SIGN between him and his people)
(Real Christianity is spiritual Israel!)

"If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him,
not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:" Isaiah 58:13

(God degree's a Special Blessing for those who keep his Sabbath)

"For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." Exodus 20:11

Lets Face it, people Hate the Commandments because they love the World, they want to work or go bowling on the sabbath, Instead of Spending with God

So really its The Sabbath that they Hate and God

Does anyone enjoy clasping the hand of Rome and getting False Doctrines like The Secret Rapture?(Futurism)

Better Read your Bible and listen less to your Pharisees!

Make up your own Mind if God's Holy Law was Destroyed

we are saved by grace alone. not of "works" or keeping any laws or commandments, least anyone should boast. "anyone" whom calls upon the lord shall be "saved". where is keeping the commandments mentioned there.???? the thief on the cross, what commandments did he have to keep.????? salvation is "not" of works. keeping the commandments is one of "works" ur in bondage and so r those that push such doctrine. grace alone "saves"

Re: THE BIG CHRISTIAN LIE ABOUT THE LAW NAILED TO THE CROSS
"But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:" Matthew 24:20

Seems Matthew was wise enough to keep the Sabbath of God too

Gods Ten Commandments were Written with His Finger in Stone

Meaning what exactly? "THERE EVERLASTING"

It's Curious We know Not to "Kill" or "Steal" or "Covet"

Everyone wants to Go there Own Way instead of the true message of the "Sabbath"

The Sabbath is a Statement (The Holy Bible mentions 126 times)

That you Love God more then Foot Ball or getting a Golden Karate Belt, or going surfing or swimming or going to the movies, its about reconnecting with God

We are not saved by works and keeping Gods Commandments isn't works, its character.

Half the Commandments are about the Character of God
The Other Half is are Character without God

without God we will lie, steal ,hurt ,covet and even disrespect God and are own Parents.

Maybe I should just post Revelation 12:17/Revelation 14:12
again and again into people wake up

Its not works, its because you Love God that you would consider keeping them, its the lest we can do

There's a huge difference between ceremonial Sabbath's and The Sabbath of God's Ten Commandments

we are saved by grace alone. not of "works" or keeping any laws or commandments, least anyone should boast.

Do you think the thief would have continued Stealing? if he didn't Die on the cross?

No He wouldn't have, would he ,Because then he would have to
Ask for forgiveness again if he had.

See we are not Saved in are Sin's, But from Them in Christ

You can Bet your House he would have kept the Sabbath Too

Sad most of us are not prepared to give God one day a week
