Who are you to determine your information is fact or even relevant? It's up for the people to decide that. If you post something that people don't give very much response to, it was either posted already, considered to be bullshit, or had no relevance at all. The stuff that gets pinned is more often than not very good information backed by a reliable source. I think the mods do a fantastic job of leaving bullshit off the radar.

posting a thread is the equivalent of being a reporter. If you make the top story it's because you got the jump on something hot off the press that people care about. If you're a lousy reporter who showed up to the scene 40 minutes late, guess what? you're station has low ratings.

Let the people decide whether or not your post is relevant or worthy to be considered news. Not you.
