Try wearing a helmet that size and hold your head up. You will fall from off balance. From the look of it, it probably have a brain twice the size of ours. Gravity is gravity whether you are human or alien. Just saying, something isn't right with this video.

they have advanced lightweight brain composition - although much larger it weighs as much as an average human brain

How does a bumble bee fly? Nature is full of "shouldn't be able too's. I wouldnt think a giraffe would be able to hold that long neck up, but it does. Nature finds a way.
His head sorta looks some what balanced, neck seems to be in the center, the weight may be balanced.

Gobbledegook all...

Assuming that the big headed-small bodied alien archetype is represented in fact, logic suggests that it would have to originate from a planet with a much lighter gravitational relationship than ours. Making that assumption, it's no wonder they can't survive in the Earth atmosphere because our gravity DOES prevent them from moving about freely and could quite possibly kill them.

Their ships would have developed an artificial gravity suited to their needs and they would need some form of artificially maintained environment to be able to survive on Earth and no matter how much they "terraformed" Earth post-invasion they would still never be able to occupy it so it doesn't make sense to invest all the resources into ships and planet smashers just to kill everyone and move on after resource extraction. The planet is just too close to our Sun for their survivability even in the short term.

Diplomacy and friendship is always more powerful than outright shows of force...why make it pay off once when you make it pay off for generations?

I doubt the universe is really like Star Trek with violent Iguana-men fighting with spaceships and swords on illusion planets with green hooker-girls dancing in the background.

Maybe they are in another dimension but can somehow interact with or "appear" in ours without being affected by our physics.

That is the exact same thing running through my mind. And you illustration gets to the root of the point. Is is head empty? Did he or she get it filled with air only when the circus was in town? Maybe it's full of hydrogen or nitrogen instead of oxygen and water? And who is this guys custom tailor? You couldn't have cross stitched or painted that shirt on any tighter.

Re: Simple question: How did this alien hold up it's large head?
Neck muscles. Bone structure. Strong tendons. Evolved/ Adapted to hold up the weight of the head, also it looks as if the weight of the head is evenly balanced on the (Dense muscular) neck and shoulders. IMHO...
