Not Judas the individual, but someone fitting the same mold: alleged followers of Christ selling out for material gain/security. It's the exact same as Esau selling his birthright for some lunch, or people taking the legendary mark of the beast so they'll still be able to make transactions.



Not literally, but the "temple" is now God's *people*, yes? Not a building. What is so far-fetched about some in the Body of Christ suddenly claiming to be gods? Re-enthroning the Self, which was supposed to be reckoned dead and buried? It's about overcoming the animal instincts to merely be a meat puppet who lives to eat, mate and dominate. It's about serving self vs. serving God. That's Judas - that's the role he played, and I imagine there's plenty more like him, yes? He was walking with Jesus, displaying righteous outrage at the appropriate times, but apparently helped himself to the money in the bag.
