Stop worrying - Nukes WON'T Be Used in WWIII

I tend to agree romainia. War more as a managerial tool then a kill the bad guys sort of thing. It's why no one really wins anymore. They just remove a leader and continue to conduct business. War has gone corporate.

These situations are perfectly controlled now. The government just keeps us in a heightened state of alertness so they can trick us into fighting. For the governments of the world however war is like a demolition/construction business.

You can forget about gentleman's agreements during modern wars; hogwash.

The opposite is true: because of the nuclear weapon there would be no WWIII, because the next war after it would be fought by sticks and stones - if anybody would survive it.

Even more relevant: while the Global Plutocracy – largely controlling the world – favors local, confined wars, a world war would harm its interests.

For an agreement to hold both sides have to have convincing means of punishing the one that breaks it.

So yes, the existence of nukes reinforces the gentleman's agreement not to use them.

But the current thinking is that they also prevent direct/hot conflict between the nuclear powers. They won't.

Give WWIII a chance!

its a big game and there need to be rules for this big game so they can get maixum use of all their toys.

What planet are you living on. If war breaks out between east and west then nukes will definately be used.

The west has battlefield nukes like the davy crocket system, which they have stated can be used as conventional weapons. This will only lead to escalation.

Of course nukes will be used.
