Ok, relax, that is what I'm looking for. Maybe you can cite why they aren't reputable. I don't read them on a regular basis, so I didn't know that would make me a "moran", but they came through my MSM feed, so I was a bit surprised. Hence why I'm asking for feedback. Any reason why they are so suspect? Has anyone else found any corroboration of this story? |

When it comes to reports of giants and giant creatures, science journals and historical records made in scholarly diaries are far more valuable -- when they are are aloud to be published. The news papers are full of printing crap, so reports of giants, giant animals etc. are only important if they can be independently confirmed or supported by other evidence. For example, in 2008 Russian news reported the discovery of a giant's skeleton found in Georgia. The report was that it was nearly 10 feet tall. If I recall, the actual bones later turned out to belong to a man who was around 7 feet tall, or a perhaps a bit more--still a giant, but not a 10 foot giant. so exaggerations do occur all the time. |
