tell me about it! I attempted to go natural, made it several hours into labor, but my body physically began to go into shock. The shaking was uncontrollable. It was not nerves or anxiety, I was so happy to be delivering finally. Might have been because i eventually had to be induced. baby would not come on her own. My body was not ready for delivery, so the sudden delivery literally put me into shock. It was a terrible feeling, so cold, shaking so hard one nurse actually accused me of being dramatic, so I tried so hard to control the shakes by clenching every muscle as hard as I could, no avail. After the epidural it eased up considerably, but also allowed the actual delivery to go a lot faster so they could try to get my body back to normal. After the birth I fevered like crazy all night, buckets of sweat, insatiable thirst, more shivers. The pain in my muscles from seizing all day hurt almost as much as the stitches. Some people need meds, some peole want meds, some people dont want them. I think it is of no difference what category a person falls into.

All women are different, Some can birth in 10 minutes, some can push and scream and cry for 72 hours.

In the past childbirth was the number one killer of women. A high percent of births ended in death

it isnt just the size of the baby you know, it is about the size of the pelvic bone opening. the vagina may open and stretch but if the baby cant get around the bones, c-sec it is.

I think it's red raspberry leaf tea....when I was trying for our third that is now 5 months old, I remember reading about it and its supposed to help strengthen the uterus. I'm about 90% sure that's what is was anyway..I just remember reading something about that....
