Quoting: ynotforyoumy life has been tough, as i've always been considered rather odd. i have this knowledge in myself that there will be peace for me when i pass over. i work hard not to hate, even when it's due. i try to love even when it feels foreign to me. i mourn those whom i love who have passed, but am jealous of them. i don't believe in heaven, nor hell. i'm actually hoping to be a desk assistant in the library in the sky. ynotforyou (OP) User ID: 1428635 Canada 06/27/2011 10:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A near-death experience (NDE) refers to a broad range of personal experiences associated with impending death, encompassing multiple possible sensations including detachment from the body; feelings of levitation; extreme fear; total serenity, security, or warmth; the experience of absolute dissolution; and the presence of a light. These phenomena are usually reported after an individual has been pronounced clinically dead or otherwise very close to death, hence the term near-death experience. Many NDE reports, however, originate from events that are not life-threatening. With recent developments in cardiac resuscitation techniques, the number of reported NDEs has increased.[1] Many in the scientific community regard such experiences as hallucinatory,[2][3][4] while paranormal specialists and some mainstream scientists claim them to be evidence |

Quoting: tinygreenaci didn't want to come back, but i'm glad i did. i would never have known the love of my children and my grandkids. i have no fear of death at all. none. I almost had a NDE when I was two and stopped breathing from a very bad bout of bronchitis. My first memory of life was waking up in the hospital under an oxygen tent and seeing my godmother and mother crying and wondering why they were crying, 'cuz I was just fine. Another early memory I had was walking alongside my mother and grandmother and asking if I could ride in the carriage with my little brother. My grandmother said I was being a baby but my mom knew I was getting tired and put me in. I remember the relief and thinking how HEAVY the gravity is here and wondering if this weariness was going to be like this for the next 30-some-odd years. It was a feeling that I just wanted to go home already. It's now many years plusS those 30 some-odd years, lol - but I never fear death. Once in awhile, it's the living that I fear.... |

"Alexander was a great warrior and ruler who had conquered nearly one-third of the world. He wanted to become emperor of the entire world, but he was defeated in battle and fell sick with a terminal illness. A few days before his death, Alexander called his ministers and explained to them how he wanted to be buried. He told them he wanted openings made on both sides of his coffin, through which his arms should be kept hanging out with the palms turned up. The ministers asked him why he wanted this to be done. Alexander replied that, in this way, everyone would come to know that the great Alexander, who had strived his whole life to possess and conquer the world, had left it totally empty-handed. He had not even taken his own body with him. Therefore, they would understand how futile it is to spend one's whole life chasing after the world and its objects. After all, in the end we cannot take anything with us, not even our own body. So, what is the use of feeling overly attached?" |

She said she had a dream whereas she saw herself as a baby again. I explained the concept of reincarnation - that we are born many times - even though the veil of forgetfulness prevents us from remembering past lives. Well God bless ya Auntie! I'll see you on the flip side and ready for another round soon enough... |

ynotforyou (OP) User ID: 1428635 Canada 06/27/2011 10:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The danger does NOT lie in the death of the physical body, as millions believe: the danger exists in the WAY in which one LIVES. There is nothing in the Universe to be afraid of, except our own ignorance and its consequences. We live on Earth to develop our consciousness, awareness and understanding of the specific aspects of laws of Nature and the Universe. What we think we “know” on Earth is just a tiny drop in the Ocean of Knowledge. [link to www.thiaoouba.com] |
