Where Earth is in relation to the sun changes incrementally every day. Where 'behind the sun' was six months ago, is now what we see at nighttime. And where 'behind the sun' is now, we will be seeing 6 months from now, at nighttime. Do you understand? We spend several months of the year between the Sun and the center of the galaxy, we spend several months with the sun between us and the center of the galaxy. We spend several months of the year ahead of where the sun is going, and we spend several months trailing the sun.

So you see, it is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for a celestial object to be approaching us 'from behind the sun'.
