By nature, plants reseed themselves so if the fruits were not picked, they would become invasive weeds. Yes! They are gifts!

In the movie I am Legenda wilderness returns pushing it's way through the concrete. If the plants don't exist for mammals, 2 and 4 legged, then what would be their purpose other than creating a jungle that competes for water and oxygen?
