The More You Meditate....The more Receptive Other Humans Are to YOU | |

Quoting: infinitymindboxSince I have been meditating on a daily basis...complete strangers walk up to me just to say hello. I am met with MUCH more kindess and love. [link to www.livescience.com] this link states we all have a magnetic sixth sense Well....mediatation increases this sense...and the magnetic forces we all have are increased!!! The more you meditate...the more light you send...and the more people are attracted to you. I suggest everyone meditate at least twice a day. It has worked wonders for me. So how come magnets aren't more attracted to you? I thought you were just talking about magnetic fields, now you switch to people as if they are the same thing? Last Edited by Advaita Vedantist on 06/30/2011 04:04 PM I am like the space which permeates all objects, and is yet undefiled. I am of the nature of Absolute Consciousness. I can now cognize my Reality to be no other than That. Jnana Vashistha |

Least Servant User ID: 1062754 United States 06/30/2011 04:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes you are right. In this day and age, just about any genuine metaphysical work will make one "seem different" than the other people around... lots of chaotic energy, almost everyone is overwhelmed in one way or another... when you are not, it's easy for other living beings to notice. I think it just means most people are "sick" by the common standard from human history. :romaflag: Not enough to fight, too many to die. |

I love that modern people use the fact that their lives appear to be so busy as an excuse to keep themselves from living. Most responsibilities in life are the result of choices you have made to trade flexibility for something... usually security or the satisfaction of "belonging needs". What happens when a person of peace can't find peace? What happens when a person who is fond of meditation and inner reflection gets saddled with hellian spawn to raise? Things change all the time in life, like the seasons. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 272315 United States 06/30/2011 04:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | think about this.....when you were a kid...you were happy...living in the "now"....no worries about the future...no worries about the past. As we grow...we tend to focus on the past...experiences that have either scarred us, or harmed us...we think about the future..plans for finances....whats gonna happen tomorrow....we forget the "now". When you meditate...you focus on the "now", and you enter a child like state. childeren are much closer to the source than we are as we grow up. We all need to try hard to get back to that state of mind. Kids are all loving and pure of heart. try to get back to that. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 272315 United States 06/30/2011 04:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the bible even speaks about the benefits of meditation.... Genesis 24:63 He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching. Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Psalm 1:2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. Psalm 48:9 Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. Psalm 77:12 I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” Psalm 119:23 Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees. |

Not the 2 second mutters one might say before a meal but say, what monks do in monasteries. It was never about telling some external entity something, it's about operating on your own mind.
