I'd say, as long as you believe in the heavenly father, you're on the right path. I do believe he hears our prayers and tries to do the best he can to grant them, but we need to open our eyes for opportunity.

I'm not entirely with the new-aged religous practices alot of people are apart of today, because I've been scolded all my life of being a sinner which kind've secretly ate me alive inside all my life, without me even realizing it.

So finally, One day, I just got fed up and wanted to explore more truth to this life we live. Not living in fear and following life by a book isn't the case in my opinion either. We all were born free, that's our life, that's our ability & most importantly.. that is our rightful Privilege as human rights.

Last night, after thinking to myself about the religion of Christianity and how I've grew up with it. I figured something new out, I had not ever thought of before.

This religion was passed down for eons. I remember, as a kid... first being taught the religion when I even felt too young myself to understand anything they were saying, until I hit a higher age of course. Then I began to accept I am a sinner and if I do this, do that, I goto hell. That's how I've always been taught and put Great terrible fear inside of me growing up until 18.

Fear of death, fear of being a sinner, fear of demonic forces or demonic people, but you can't get around it because everyone is labeled as a 'sinner'.

Nobody is able to be perfect, so you're a sinner until you ask for forgiveness. That is how my past was; all-in-all, and I think to be honest... you don't need to learn religion until you're older so you can understand it better and more clear to make the choice yourself, instead of your parents making the decision for you as a kid,
then what happends is another soul, created on this planet, is brainwashed into believing whatever religion is being taught at their young age because the parent is in fear that 'if this child isn't saved, Oh my lord, he will be manifested with demons and sent down to hell any day!'

Sorry, I got a little too carried away. My apologies, but hopefully you've read this Elizabeth and can understand why I said this.

This wasn't intended to be a shoot on religion or anything like that.. but I just got too carried away is all on my past behalf. I just want to give some good wordly advice on spiritual/religous type of things.

Well I'd like to say that you are very deep and thoughtful, and have indeed Wise Words,for you do not rush blindly in and I thank you.
As it is a difficult question to answer, for no one really knows the true path, I feel only the individual soul can know ones own path.

As for me I like you was reared a catholic and dragged off to church every Sunday, I myself in turn baptised my own children Catholic. Fortunately for them I always said they could choose what if any religion they wanted for themselves and my eldest is very deep and wise. Like me he knows that god does not exist in any church that mankind could build, he exists within each and every person, he is us and we are him.

Many years ago I travelled to Papua New Guinea, I was horrified that the missionaries had been there and the horrific drawings of hell where they would go if they lied ect.

Why are we so frighten of death from the cradle to the grave we worry about cancer, heart attacks, accidents are we all that afraid of judgement or is that we are afraid of being forgotten, I don't know if more of us just accept death as a part of life and when it happens it happens and just get on with living. Be nice to people not just tolerate each other but truely accept and not exactly love but like people for what and who they are, not what they have.

For you see I believe we judge ourselves after all is said and done and our time has elapsed here. We are our own worse critics who better to judge us than ourselves.
Lets face it if there is a god, he would be to busy doing other stuff.

Anyway I've had I guess what you would call an enlightnment or really a 'knowing' type experience not religious exactly
just a knowing I suppose it is a look a glipse of my soul in away and since then I've had the ability to see aruas and just things that other people can't see.
