Cracker Barrel serves french fries with blood

A Houston woman says she was sent a $100 gift card and an apology from Cracker Barrel after her french fries were served with a side of blood.

Susan Mosher told KPRC-TV that she was munching on the fries when she noticed that the red splatter wasn't exactly tomato-based.

"I was sick," she said. "I was absolutely sick. I wanted to throw up."

A waitress told Mosher that the blood came from a cook who cut himself making a sandwich, an explanation that was confirmed by the local health department.
