LOL. You folks are obviously too young to understand what Cracker Barrel means. My dad, who was born in 1895, often told me that as a kid he loved to walk from their farm to town with his dad. One of the main reasons was that after their business was finished they would go to the general store and have a cracker barrel meal before the long walk home. That meal was a big slice of hoop cheese and saltine crackers which were packaged in and sold from a small wooden barrel. The more affluent (not dad) could go all out and eat a sawmill supper which added sardines to the cheese and crackers.
