If this has already been discussed(i didn't read the whole thread). I wasn't born(birthed, berthed) because I am not a boat. I was incarnated or reincarnated. The birth cert. has nothing to do with me. Why debate something that is completely irrelevant.

Re: "Why do we have to pay to live on a planet that we are born on?"
I don't care whether it's Alex Collier or anyone else, the fact that we're talking about a FREE PLANET makes me very happy.

But with happiness comes responsiblity i.e. "Do right by Free Planet," is the only rule, I can see, that's worth ENFORCING.

And by enforcing I mean, "Industry has failed, it's our responsiblity to NEVER AGAIN let profit be more important than planet."

:)

I'm in.

why should someone else pay to support you. you sure do love freedom, unless it comes to someone else having to pay your internet bill and your food bill and rent. then you're not so big on freedom anymore, are ya? if we were free to cut you off the tax payer teet, we would.

get a job, loser

Re: "Why do we have to pay to live on a planet that we are born on?"
"why do we have to pay to live on a planet that we are born on?"

simply because other people have claimed ownership of the planet.

as Lysander Spooner wrote all the way back in 1888:

"The government denies the natural right of human beings' to live on this planet. This it does by denying their natural right to those things that are indispensable to the maintenance of life. It says that, for every thing necessary to the maintenance of life, they must have a special permit from the government; and that the government cannot be required to grant them any other means of living than it chooses to grant them.

"All this is shown as follows, viz.;

"The government denies the natural right of individuals to take possession of wilderness land, and hold and cultivate it for their own subsistence.

"It asserts that wilderness land is the property of the government; and that individuals have no right to take possession of, or cultivate, it, unless by special grant of the government. And if an individual attempts to exercise this natural right, the government punishes him as a trespasser and a criminal.

"The government has no more right to claim the ownership of wilderness lands; than it has to claim the ownership of the sunshine, the water, or the atmosphere. And it has no more right to punish a man for taking possession of wilderness land, and cultivating it, without the consent of the government, than it has to punish him for breathing the air, drinking the water, or enjoying the sunshine, without a special grant from the government.

"In thus asserting the government's right of property in wilderness land, and in denying men's right to take possession of and cultivate it, except on first obtaining a grant from the government, --- which grant the government may withhold if it pleases, --- the government plainly denies the natural right of men to live on this planet, by denying their natural right to the means that are indispensable to their procuring the food that is necessary for supporting life.

"In asserting its right of arbitrary dominion over that natural wealth that is indispensable to the support of human life, it asserts its right to withhold that wealth from those whose lives are dependent upon it. In this way it denies the natural right of human beings to live on the planet. It asserts that government owns the planet, and that men have no right to live on it, except by first getting a permit from the government.

"This denial of mens' natural right to take possession of and cultivate wilderness land is not altered at all by the fact that the government consents to sell as much land as it thinks it expedient or profitable to sell; nor by the fact that, in certain cases, it gives outright certain lands to certain persons. Notwithstanding these sales and gifts, the fact remains that the government claims the original ownership of the lands; and thus denies the natural right of individuals to take possession of and cultivate them. In denying this natural right of individuals, it denies their natural right to live on the earth; and asserts that they have no other right to life than the government, by its own mere will, pleasure, and discretion, may see fit to grant them.

"In thus denying man's natural right to life, it of course denies every other natural right of human beings; and asserts that they have no natural right to anything; but that, for all other things, as well as for life itself, they must depend wholly upon the good pleasure and discretion of the government."

Why has the govt done this? Because it is what the ruling class desires.

But YOU THE PEOPLE have to be prepared to protect these 'wilderness lands' (aren't they all?) from the hungry glare of the Corporate War Machine.

Basically, only TOTAL GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY by and for the people and an end to CORPORATE ESPIONAGE and financial machinations in the name of profit, will bring this free(d) planet to fruition.

It's sorta obvious we have to REBOOT.

I have NEVER sworn allegiance to the country of my birth nor have I sworn to uphold their laws! The only reason I pay my taxes and obey the law is because they enforce the 'Might is Right' rule and I will be punished if I disobey! They tell me I was born a free man but to me it looks more and more like I was born a slave.

We shouldnt have to.. no one should have to pay for that which the earth provides for free..

We should of evolved into a resource based society by now.. we have been kept stupid by the slow and progressive poisoning of our minds and bodies and our ego's and fear have been fed consistantly for thousands of years...

Not entirely true, many many people work for nothing, and many many more work for next to nothing.

Money is keeping order in society, but is it the order that you really want to live by.

When you say , *You will only get something if you pay* makes me wonder about people like the Dairy farmer who is out of bed at 3 am and doesnt get back in the house till 7 pm and at the end of the week , the money he has spare is close to government benefit money.

Many many others like him and his family...

Also, stop using the term "free energy". I know the devices you're REALLY talking about, but they're not free either. They just access the incredible amounts of ambient energy all around us and throughout the universe.

Over here our crappy GovCo is, among other things, trying to figure out a way to tax barter transactions. What does that tell you about their attitude?

You probably can't see it because you live in a city or built up suburb (I'm assuming that from the assumptions you made in your post). You think there needs to be a big complicated monetary system where every aspect of life needs to be sold and bought. You're wrong.

Valid question.
 Quoting: Texas Uncensored

It all started with trading if you had bison and someone else had fish or vegetables you traded and some were more gifted in hunting skills and if you wanted to survive the winter, you traded. Logically speaking where would you be if you gave away all your resources to someone who sat on their backside as survival is hardwired into all of us and you found your niche and you thrived.

It is when government grows too large that we run into problems as they devour resources and give little in return hence our current dilemma.

I do not oppose the gov taxing barter transactions. This is fair and understandable. The whole point of paying taxes is not about punishing those who use money as a medium of transaction. It's about contributing to building and maintaining a society.

And you are right. When enough people do it, THEY would find a way!

Here it goes again. A society is being set up. Now what?

To protect yourself from being eaten by animals in there, you guys decide that few strongest guys should be elected as guards to fight wild animals.

Thus these guys need your support to survive. So others farm and give these guys food! And they be the guards! Now you're paying tax AGAIN!
