I would go even further as far as your quote above. I would say that according to the Word of God, ALL men apart from Jesus Christ have evil hearts. Not as evil as they possibly could be, but evil nonetheless apart from God's grace.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

People who are reading this that have special abilities and think they are superior to the Christian simpletons like myself do not realize who much they are missing in. You may have it all wealth and/or prestige but you do not know or understand how wonderful it feels like to have your awful heavy feelings of sin in your life wiped clean. Getting a new start a new begging in life. I have that knowledge I have that feeling of being pure and clean by the Blood of the Lamb. The only way you can get that wonderful gift is if you surrender your heart to Jesus Christ the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the World. I invite you to acknowledge your need to be forgiven and cleaned of your sin by asking God to forgive you and ask Jesus into your heart. It is a choice and you do have that choice. God bless all of goodwill and may he turn your heart to Him. In Jesus name I pray.

Study the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Read the 4 Gospels. Tell Him you are sorry and take Him as your Lord and Savior. You will be 'born again' into a New Life in God.

Ugh, I feel like i'm so behind I don't even know what the 4 gospels are. I used to be into stuff like astrology and tarot and now i'm ashamed for having done that.

My question is, when judgement day comes, will I be judged for having done that?

My opinion and your opinion doesn't really matter when it comes to the question--How do we get to Heaven.

Only God would know what we have to do. We, ourselves, simply do not have enough information to know the answer to such an ultimate question.

That is why we look to Christ who was God and therefore in possession of all necessary knowledge about
God. That is why we post scripture so that others may come to know Him.

Christ had the credentials to prove His claims.
And He said that those who believed in Him would have eternal life and those who rejected Him would be condemned.

What arrogance of those who think they know better than Christ what God is like!

In matters of what we believe[religion] we can't depend on our opinions, much less our manufactured ideas about God that are according to our own liking. We need someone who has divine authority.

Some of the best advice for you! The 4 Gospels are loaded with almost all of the Words of Jesus...the perfect teacher and Savior, and best of all, it won't take all that long to read them.

It does not matter what sin you were in to. It only matters to the Lord that you are sorry, and turn from it.

He can help you. Since you are here and have feelings of remorse, that means that the Lord Jesus has called you to be with Him. But, He also makes this promise:

"He Who calls you is faithful and true, and He will do it."

Do what? Perfect you into His image just as you were created to be.

Do not be ashamed, for the Lord has already forgiven you. Do not be guilty, for that is Satan's snare to lead you away from the Lord. The Lord's death and precious blood shed on the cross WILL COVER ANY SIN. He is that powerful because He is God.

Repent of your past sins and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you and it will be done. Read the 4 gospels. Do a chapter a day. Pray for wisdom and His blessings before each chapter, and thank the Lord for His grace afterwards. You will learn so much.

Look for a church to join. I am catholic, but any true Bible believing church will do. Fellowship with other true believers will help you grow strong in the faith of our Lord Jesus.
