Gods picking and choosing is no different then the governments picking and choosing or darwins picking and choosing.
If we are eternally loved by an omniscient being then it is our right to at least be given a choice at the end of our lives to follow one path or the other. Not to be condemned off the bat.
God is love, not selective love.
