From the book, "Second Ammendment"

"Even if it was practicable, would it be wise to disarm the good before the wicked cease from troubling?"
~ John Jay; Original Chief-Justice, U.S. Supreme Court, April 15, 1818

"And what country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms."
~ Thomas Jefferson; U.S. President & signer of The Declaration, June 1776

And there is this word of caution from Noah Webster- "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed-as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword because the whole body of the people are armed."

Fine words! And so very true!

So, the people have been armed for the last 100 years during many crisis' and oppression and what have they done? My thoughts are that the American people are so domesticated now that they will NEVER rise up or use their weapons against the Government. The only reason we are allowed to keep them is in case we need to help fight an invasion on US shores. Hence, we are ready made military who can shoot invaders and protct the homeland.

They aren't as domesticated as they were VERY comfortable. That comfort level has all but vanished. As it continues to do so, you will have "Bonnie & Clyde" types coming out of the wood-work.

Ever heard of Waco?

So, you "try" and debate me and then throw out WACO? LOL and may I ask you what happened to them?
