Add Pineapple juice to that,it may help...

Since I don't know how bad it is... you may need a doctor. Don't mess with it, left unchecked it COULD damage your kidney(s).

the above help but for me parsley and danelions are the way to go...if the kidney's are hurting start with making and drinking parsley tea..it's not the best tasting stuff but it will really help...also add extra parsley to your potatoes etc...it will not harm you to eat it...also dandelion's are great for kidney's they are used by the medical company's to make kidney medicine.with dandelion's also make a tea from the leave's or you can also make a tea from the clean dryed roots do not make the root tea to strong use about about a inch and a half of root.

You usually don't know for sure that you have a kidney infection without tests. A bladder infection is different, it has symptoms and you feel them. (hurts to pee,or blood in urine) It is easier to cure but you still need a doctor.

If It's a mild bladder ifection then flushing with heaps of water and urals will fix it but if you have lower back pain and a fever then you could have a kidney infection and thats serious..

Re: Anyone get rid of KIDNEY INFECTION without a doctor?
I always have luck with taking the concentrated dose of Spring Valley cranberry cap. It's very strong and if I feel an infection coming on I take 2 a day spaced apart.

I then mix up plain alka seltzer and drink it. The sodium bicarbonate in this can help stop an infection, but if the infection is far gone to where you are running a temp then it won't do much.

If I start a fever I go to colloidal silver next and drink upwards of 8 oz around the clock.

If that doesn't kick it I head to the dr for some meds.

You don't wanna play around with a kidney infection as they can make you very sick.

Feel better soon!

Just so you know...

Bing Cherry Extract will help enormously...
Also, sodium Bicarbinate is supposed to help.

Lemon water with Bing Cherry Extract is what I have used in the past.

Also... you can get some anesthetic OTC items to keep the pain down.. (you'll pee orange) but it works! It's called AZO.

Believe me, I know it's painful but one of the reasons you have this is because your body is not in an alkaline state... eat more raw veggies, salads, etc.

Hope you get relief soon!

PS: If it's too far gone you'll need antibiotics

If I had a kidney infection I would take one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar three times a day for about ten days. Works like a charm on me every time.

Re: Anyone get rid of KIDNEY INFECTION without a doctor?
IF it's just a bladder infection, then you should FORGET herbs, cranberry juice/supplements, etc. D-mannose is a natural sugar that has lectins that bind with the bacteria, and you pee them right out. :) It is 200 TIMES STRONGER than cranberry but has the SAME ACTION. It tastes pretty good (mildly sweet but almost tasteless) and is a white powder that you can mix in with other things if desired. Swanson's vitamins has it cheaply, but most health food stores carry it.

Also take raw ACV (apple cider vinegar) with the "mother," 1 tsp. in water three times a day between meals. You can buy that at health food store very cheaply.

If it's in fact a true kidney infection, you do NOT want to mess around with that! You should be on antibiotics so need to see a doc.

Take care.

Re: Anyone get rid of KIDNEY INFECTION without a doctor?
the best solution is to maintain a very alkaline diet.

Years ago I got my father off dialysis using "watermelon seed tea" after having read about it in Edgar Cayce's "Encyclopedia of Healing".

Collect the dark seeds from watermelon, dry them in the sun until they flake up a dry skin (much like a peeling sunburn). I used a coffee grinder to dice up the seed then dropped a heaping teaspoon into a mug of boiling water place a saucer over the top to keep the goodness in. Let steep for about 20 minutes, before drinking. It's a good idea the start a 2nd cup afterwards and sip on this cup over the next 6 hours should you need further help.

With urinary tract infections this can work in as little as 20 minutes. If the infection is bad then more tea and time will be needed.

I don't know about kidney infections, but apple cider vinegar clears up my bladder infections every time without a doctor visit. And I have had some bladder infections so bad that I was peeing blood. Apple cider vinegar took effect in a couple of days. Great stuff! That being said, kidney infection is much more serious than a bladder infection.

Rather go to a urologist with a kidney infection, it might be a kidney stone that's causing the infection. You don't want to risk loosing a kidney now, would you?

Re: Anyone get rid of KIDNEY INFECTION without a doctor?
I've had numerous bladder infections and one kidney infection.

I seriously doubt that you have a kidney infection or you wouldn't be able to type, because you'd be too busy writhing on the floor screaming at the top of your lungs in agony.

A kidney infection feels like someone is stabbing you in the back with a butcher knife over and over and over again. And it's no joke.

Screw the cranberry juice, and have someone carry you to the car and drive you the the emergency room. Go to the hospital before you die... if it's a kidney infection.

If it's a bladder infection, then go ahead and try the home remedies. But the moment you feel that excruciating, stabbing pain in your lower back, go straight to the hospital.

So, to answer your question, have I ever gotten rid of a kidney infection without seeing a doctor? Hell no! A bladder infection, possibly, but a kidney infection, no way!

I've had 13 and use bing cherry extract, lemon water (and drink tons of water with these)... in the beginning I had to go to the hospital with it... but by the 4th one I started the regiment above and pass them safely (although with some pain) at home. My doctor gave me some "high octane" pain meds to pass them... but I pass them safely at home.

Also apple cider vinegar DOES help to make your body "alkaline" but takes longer to help with the infection.

The Bing Cherry Extract and Lemon will diffuse the kidney (like a strainer) and take out the "bad stuff" and put in "good stuff" :)

Please think about taking OTC AZO as this DOES help with pain!

Depends on your pain tolerance... I had a backed up kidney for 24 hours before I realized I could take natural things for maintenance... I was WORKING on my computer for that 24 hours, as well... again.. depends on pain tolerance... so yes.. it could be a kidney infection.

I'd say my pain tolerance is about average.

In my case, I'd had so many bladder infections that I was put on a low dose, antibiotic regimen of Septra to keep me from contracting any new ones.

While taking the Septra, I developed a bladder infection anyway, and the doctor gave me Septra DS. It didn't work. Because I'd been taking the Septra, I'd developed an infection that was resistant to Septra DS.

I took the Septra DS for a few days wondering when I was going to get any relief. It had never taken that long to work before, but I did not realize that I'd developed an infection resistant to the meds.

By this time, I was feeling a dull throbbing ache in my lower back. I'd never had a kidney infection before, so I did not know what it was. Over the course of a day, the dull throbbing ache became a white hot stabbing pain that kept hitting me over an over an over again. I'd never been in so much agony in all my life.

I'd been waiting for the doctor's office to open the next day, because I did not want to go to the hospital. But the pain became so bad that I had to go to the ER. My husband drove my screaming in pain ass to the hospital. There, I was diagnosed with a kidney infection.

OK, so I'm not as tough as you, but I'm not wimpy either. I played sports with injuries when I was younger. I ran a 10K race while recovering from a knee injury, and pitched softball with a sprained wrist. But nothing compared to the agony of that kidney infection. A broken bone is less painful than a kidney infection, IMO.

I would agree! although, I think I'd rather have an infection than a kidney stone any day! LOL LOL LOL In fact, I think I'd just rather have my daughter (which was a c-section) over five times than pass a kidney stone! *shivers*
