Talk about a man with Hitler-type obsessions, Obama is starting to think like Hugo Chavez because Obama thinks he's smarter than anyone regarding the Constitution. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, warned President Obama on Sunday to not even consider interpreting the Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment to bypass Congress and raise the debt limit without its approval. "That's crazy talk. It's not acceptable for Congress and the president not to do their job and to say somehow the president has the authority then to basically do this by himself," Cornyn, a former judge on the Texas Supreme Court, told "Fox News Sunday." The proposal that Obama re-interpret Section 4 of the Fourteenth Amendment to justify raising the $14.3 trillion debt limit has been gaining traction in Democratic circles since Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner told reporters that the Constitution's language could support the president's raising the limit without congressional approval. More here: [ link to www.foxnews.com] Obama's responsibility is to the American people not to a few Tea Party nut jobs. If congress doesn't want money spent they shouldn't authorize its spending. Default is clearly in violation of the 14th amendment. Shill much? The Tea Party is comprised of American citizens who are quite sane, & who see the Constitution and our Bill of Rights being trashed by corporate paid off thugs in Congress and the White House. Within a couple of years, the very sane Tea Partiers exerted enough power to scare the crap out of the crooks in our government. The article itself did not mention the Tea Party. It did mention a former Texas Supreme Court Judge who is now a senator. Go back to Obama and tell him you failed.
