I dunno, I haven't really thought about it. Perhaps she could sleep with your father?

What do you mean? What or how would I approach getting a divorce if I wanted one? I think I would simply say so.

I would think this is the most logical answer. Problem is that circumstances are different in every persons motivations.
Not me, but her. Thank you for your response.

Re: A question for the married ladies. How would you provoke a divorce?
Well this is off the top of my head, but I would pick fights with the one I wanted to divorce. Spend way too much money. Stay out till all hours of the night if I came home at all on any given night. Have an affair. Well maybe not an affair if I am planning on taking half of what you have as well. Cause problems for you at work, throw away things you cherish.

Try to destroy your standing in the communtiy.Embarass you in public. Call the police and say you hit me in order to get you locked up, not to actually persue that line of hate or have you put in jail.

I could go on and on, the bottom line is she will do what is in character for her to do.

PS I have been married for 24 years and have not done any of these things. This was just off the top of my head in 3 minutes time. As the song goes, there are 50 ways to leave your lover.

Sorry you are going through this rough spot.

You may be on to something. Married 15 yrs. I am disabled due to back problems. I am a kept man, at the moment. 3 yrs ago, my personal income was 500k. I think she is bating me to file. I also think that the insurance coverage is why she is not being forth right. Because I have health issues, it would seem very inhumane to drop me in the grease. I am covered through her employer.

OP! If you're willing to got the extra mile, try this.

Go out and tie one on! At a minimum, you'll have to drink 12 Budweiser beers. Then, eat the following:

Some sort of fruit Danish
Jalapenos
Sauer Kraut
A Three Cheese Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada dinner from the frozen food section of Walmart
and
Burnt Toast

If that doesn't do it brother, she can't smell.

Maybe she doesn't feel appreciated....therefore resentful of the situation....maybe your vulnerability is making you sensitive, and you are too focused on your feelings to see her need for you to appreciate the extra weight on her shoulders....

maybe the 2 of you should communicate....

Bob, has she indicated she wants a divorce, or time apart or is it more that things have changed and you believe you see the writing on the wall?

Is she doing any of the crazy things that have been mentioned?

One other thing, my husband and I have a good friend who was having a rough patch in his marriage, They were fighting one night as was fairly common at this point and she said I want a divorce. She had said it before but this time his answer was give me 2 days to pack my stuff. He left and didn't look back. The point to this is I wish you would think about this a lot before broaching this subject with her, you can not unring a bell.

She lost respect for you. Not working, back injury.

How did you make 5000000 a year? Doing what?

Now you make nothing?

What is wrong with your back that you cannot do what you where doing?

Re: A question for the married ladies. How would you provoke a divorce?
You are the only one that can answer your question. If you are worried that your wife wants a divorce you have to ask her. It might only be in your mind. Just because you are disabled doesn't mean your wife wants to divorce you.

Question for you, is your wife superficial or something like that, did she marry you for the money you were making? If not
you might be putting feeling of insecurities you have, on to her. So, just ask her.

I wish you good blessing on the answer.

I, for one, wouldn't think of leaving the man I love, just because he is disabled.

Move almost all of the money offshore so she cannot touch it. This will require some cleverness but it can be done. This way if the court orders you to pay her half you can give her the finger and "disappear."
