It could be. Ive been asking all sources I can think of, not just here. Ive also followed up on what some people have mentioned here by reading more... theres so much I dont know what to believe exactly, but I can prepare for a few things. Ive told what i know to people... some have no idea, some dont believe me, some whisper in hushed tones... one even told me to drop it... i dont know if they knew anything or were just defending the church, i find some catholics defend the church to the death without ever questioning them.

There are many third secrets out there floating around. Theres even a story the nun that got it was replaced by an imposter(keep in mind im not an expert, im not even catholic).

The friends of the church mentioned earlier are indeed taking their families(although some are going alone or made separate arrangements to the Baltimore MD and/or Columbus Ohio area.... keep in mind thats about 26 families from all over the country, each going to one of those two places... I have no idea why. I find it highly odd that theyd all go to one of two places if not going to Rome. Columbus especially is rather benign... and before someone says Wright Patterson for any reason... they could easily fly into Dayton cheaper.

Its multi-pronged really. I see what you say there. I think the two things are disconnected, nevertheless theyre both happening and both are issues the church is grappling with.

Theyre both unrelated... but both being dealt with. I was looking into the first, but started hearing things about the second which frankly scared me more than the first. I could be completely wrong, but it scared me anyway. Im sorry, thats my honest conclusion. In essence, when you say something bigger is going on, you may be right, i got sidetracked with the islamic thing, i have no idea if its a smoke screen or truly multiple issues going on at once. Either way im a little scared and preparing.

Wow, a little disappointed to see a paranoid jump on me for one of very few posts I have ever left here. It's a free country (for now) but while it is I believe I'm still entitled to share my opinions as much as the next person here, which is all I did. Catholic bashing? Really? You can't know much about the RCC if you view all present and former adherents as one and the same, but then some folks jump to conclusions as readily as they adopt the frown over a smile. The immediate distrust of a self-proclaimed RC simply because I freely admit to my background demonstrates nothing but an ignorance of contemporary culture, much less sincere understanding of the modern condition of religious organizations like the RCC. Fine, as I said in my previous post, do your own research then, I've been a student of ancient history for likely longer than this forum has been around and have little need to persuade anyone here of my opinions. If you haven't learned how to use tools like Google effectively so you can separate the wheat from chaff, then I suppose that's the price of ignorance. I just hoped that OP had more interesting insights to share than what he finally came back with after several days of recovering from his trip, that's all. The Jesuit Order is the scientific community among the RCC insiders and that is part of what caught my attention. The consistency of their findings with other (again, alleged) scientific data from the SPT is a dot connection, nothing more.

I thought some might appreciate learning (independently) about other rather interesting info on the net that comes with a Vatican wrapper of intrigue. Deception? I can't imagine anyone making the effort from what I read on threads here. I hope everyone can recognize the obvious signal-to-noise ratio of this forum like many others. Be discerning is always good advice in any context, but be just as aware of people trying to exalt a subject into a scientific discipline when it is far from anything resembling that. The whole subject of an inhabited 'Nemesis' and planets that cross our ecliptic plane is based on many and varied sources of compelling historical myth and record, but trying to charade it as a noble science without benefit of any of the tools of science to support it is pure folly and ultimately a self-deception of its own.

It's fascinating stuff, with lots of intersecting lines and maybe eventually we discover that it's based on cosmological truth, but discussion doesn't make it so. We're all in this thing together and we'll all discover together among like-minded souls. I plainly distrust the RCC, so a story about an insider that spills info and documented to a reporter some 7 years ago is interesting to me. If it's interesting to you too, then great, but relying on others to do your work for you will get you just what you deserve. I neither look for easy answers nor do I provide them. All that OP has provided thus far is another interesting data point. There are plenty more out there for those whose curiosity inclines them to seek.

Sorry OP, those comments were not directed to you specifically and I appreciate your posts. Someone immediately 'warned' the thread that I may be out to deceive with my post, because I was RC and used references to a "Jesuit Insider" and the like. Also glad to see that we can correct ourselves and no longer refer to you as "he" :-)

just the travel appointments are nothing unusual, but the fact that this many different ones for one date and sudden call up of Archbishops does not happen often and means its very important

And the funny thing is, Columbus and Baltimore are not that far apart. This part is puzzling.

Columbus and Baltimore are practically parallel to each other. Just over 400 miles away, it is almost a straight ride on I-70. West Virginia lies equidistant between them.

I was inadvertantly directed to this website and could not help but get caught up in reading the discussion. Although I'm shocked at the disgusting comments and attacks on the Roman Catholic Church, I can't say that it surprises me anymore. I'm getting used to hearing it. What I find more shocking, though is that those making the worst attacks seem to have little insight into their own evident depravity, as it shows very clearly to a stranger who happens to come by the conversation by chance. I think we human beings need to do a lot more inner soul searching and a lot less of trying to pluck the splinter out of the other person's eye. While the abuse crisis in the Church is indefensible, so is the abuse crisis in society, which is equally as wicked. We all belong to this depraved culture, but that doesn't make us all equally guilty. The same is true for priests. Since when in America are all members of a group guilty of the crimes of some or one of its adherents? This is un-American thinking. The real truth is that people attack the Church because they reject what the Church teaches on morality, for the simple reason that they refuse to live by the moral code the Church has plainly taught for 2000 years. But their conscience incites them and so they hate that voice that calls them back to sanctity. That is the truth. There is abuse in politics, education, families, Christian, protestant, atheistic organization...you name it, a small percentage of these abuse children. But the Church is the target of hatred and this sin of a few used as an excuse to attack the whole Church. God Himself will vindicate His Bride, which is the Church. Look into your hearts and see the root of your hatred is your own sin, which the Church convicts you of.

The Roman Catholic Church is the Antichrist of Bible prophecy. Thought hate is a detastable thing, truth must be spread and shared, especially truth about the Papacy.

Perhaps those 50,000,000+ innocent 'heretics' which were martyred in medieval times by the authority of the Roman Catholic Church would give someone a reason to be disgusted with a completely corrupt system which is the Judas of Bible Prophecy; professing to be one of them until the very end.

OP, I agree with your assessment that it is because of Elenin. Sadly, there is more dis/mis-info about Elenin than actual truth and as a result we may be pressed to have thoughts of doubt and disbelief.

I am curious about what you mentioned about the families of the american cardinals being sent to two locations... which page of this thread did you originally reveal this information?
