I'm not certain I would recommend Krav Maga to anyone because of its brutality and aggressiveness. When I was in recruit training at Paris Island the drill instructors taught us hand to hand combat. All of it was deadly and therefore all of it is useless in real life, unless you want to kill someone for the crime of being a drunken ass. Non of it would be allowed in any type of sparring.
