Casey Anthony has been found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. The jury declined to convict her of either first degree murder or manslaughter.

I haven't been paying any attention to this circus story. It's like a magician throwing glitter with their right hand, and pocketing your wallet with the other. How many of these 3 month distractions will our society gobble down before the pattern is realized? The only reason why the verdict is this way, is so it can create another month of sensationalism.

She did NOT kill her daughter... Her bizarre behavior was partly confusion and fear and partly a wish to pretend that Caley had not suddenly disappeared.

I believe Caley drowned by accident in the pool and that someone covered it up because they felt negligent and responsible.

There is not one iota of evidence pointing to Casey as a Murder 1 suspect. It was all media hype.

There will be no justice today for that sweet little girl! Her mother may go free now, but she'll won't be free because she will always have to live with what she did, that's if she has any amount of a conscious left. What a shame!We are truly corrupt as a society!

The prosecution did an amazing job, and there was enough evidence for her to be in jail for life. Baez on the other hand, made no sense, and brought up things that there was no evidence for. I'm not sure what the jury was thinking, but I'm sure down the line she will pull an OJ and end up in jail anyway.

The state had a shoddy case.. no REAL EVIDENCE.

what would take it to December? ive represented a person charged with a crime and when he reached the year mark, we pled to a lesser charge, got one year and he went home after sentencing. He still had to go through the process of getting out of the prison which took a few days for the sentencing and release orders to be prepared, signed by the judge, filed and provided to the jail for release, but it didnt take 6 months.

This was a satanic molestation by the grandfather. It resulted in death. I suggest that possible Casey herself has been a past victim thus her attitude and she can't rat her father. She is young and confused and has no power. The jury was correct. I think the most truth in this was the girlfriend of the Casey's father who said he told her it was an accident that went bad and was not handled properly. Indeed it was not by HIM. He needed the body hidden and decomposed so the sexual abuse could not be discovered.

YEAH, SHE IS NOT GUILTY!!! NEVER WAS!!! I Never thought she was and got into some heated debate here on GLP...There still is a God and a good day in our American Justice System!
