Unfortunately "dead body smell" is not scientific evidence. As for the stickers, apparently the FBI tech who first saw the outline of the heart shape on the duct tape could not reproduce those results, so it became her "opinion" of what she saw, since there was no physical evidence. Yes, Casey lied, she didn't give a crap about her daughter, she's probably a sociopath and a truly evil person, however the state did not prove their case against her and that's all that really matters in a trial of this type. Emotion aside, the prosecution did a piss poor job. They had all the money and the power of the state behind them, and they couldn't prove their case. That's how it works in our judicial system.

noooooo, they did a blood match sample on Lee and used it to rule George out. Everyone knows blood match samples only rule out based on the moms or grandmoms blood, not the fathers bloodline...

Let me explain why I believe Casey was guilty and deserved a long prison sentence. (I don't believe in the death penalty.)

First, I am connecting various points of evidence to produce a picture of the crime that cannot be explained by anything else, other than Casey being guilty.

Second, I can discern the difference between the absence of any doubt vs. reasonable doubt.

Third, the reason there was no evidence connecting Casey to the place where Caylee was found is because the water and heat at that location destroyed all of the useful trace evidence. How convenient for Casey?

Here's what I think happened:

Casey, driven by a deep resentment of the responsibility of motherhood, carefully plotted to kill Caylee the day after Father's Day, 2008.

On that Monday, after George left for work around 2:30 PM, Casey sedated Caylee and placed the body in the playhouse in the backyard. At that time, she covered the mouth and nose of the child with duct tape and left her there. That's why the dogs alerted on the playhouse. This is also why there was so little evidence of "coffin flies" in the trunk of Casey's car.

(The play house sat next to the fence at the very back of the yard. George wouldn't return to the house until midnight and Cindy worked 9 hour days, so it was unlikely that they would even be in the backyard that night. That meant that Casey could feel confident that Caylee's body would lie undisturbed overnight.)

The next day, Casey backed the car into the garage that afternoon when she knew that both her parents would be at work, which the neighbor said was very odd in that she had never done that before. At this point, Casey retrieves Caylee's body from the playhouse, wraps it in plastic bags and a canvas laundry bag and then places it in the trunk. At which point some decomposition fluid leaks out of the bag onto the carpet of the trunk.

The neighbor then says that Casey borrowed his shovel, which was odd in that there were three shovels in Casey's parents' garage. I believe that she used that shovel in order to bury Caylee in a shallow grave at the wooded, swamp site. (The reason for using her neighbor's shovel may have been the size of the shovel. Or, she simply didn't want to answer any questions from her parents if they happened to find out that she had used a shovel from their garage.)

After burying Caylee, Casey returned to the house and then washed out the playhouse with a garden hose and wiped the residual decomposition fluid that had spilled in her trunk with paper towels. After which, she took a shower and dressed for her date that night.

This "grave" was flooded within a few weeks by Hurricane Faye. This destroyed any trace evidence and caused the body to float above the ground for awhile, further disturbing the remains.

From the day of the murder, Casey began to craft a number of lies as to her whereabouts and activities, designed to pacify her mother's curiosity. Ultimately, her mother's curiosity turned to worry and finally to desperation and panic, but Casey continued to lie, adjusting the details to her mother's questions.

On July 161h, when Casey's car was brought home from the tow yard, Cindy found the telephone number of Casey's friend, Amy, on a piece of paper in the car. Cindy called Amy who told Cindy that no, Casey was not in Jacksonville with a rich boyfriend as Casey had said, but instead Casey was shacking up with Tony there in town. At that point, Cindy goes to Tony's apartment, drags Casey home. When she found out that Caylee was missing, Cindy called 911.

At no point thereafter has Casey Anthony told the truth about what happened to Caylee -- even when she was arrested for lying to the police; although her parents were devastated; although thousands of people participated in the search for Caylee; even when she was arrested for stealing checks from her friend, Amy; and even when she was indicted for first degree murder. And all the while, Casey has adjusted the details of her lies to suit the circumstances.

At trial -- the jury did not see the difference between Casey "on" and Casey "off," meaning that when they were out of the room, Casey's mood would brighten, even when pictures of Caylee's remains were shown in court. In fact, sometimes, Casey was seen smiling and laughing.

In contrast, the jury saw a "sweet young thing" crying and sobbing -- and therefore, believed Casey's version of events, however preposterous, instead of the rest of the evidence. They collectively closed their minds, probably soon after the trial began.

And beyond that, they failed miserably in connecting the dots and even in their understanding of the difference between the absence of doubt and reasonable doubt.

So ... no, this has nothing to do with the media. This has to do with a grave miscarriage of justice.

George put Caylees wrapped body in the spare tire holder....the impound guy thought the smell was from the bag of trash he SAW...George KNEW where he hid the corpse and drove home with the body in the trunk! George disposed of Caylee in the swamp and told Casey 'she was close'!

Maybe she can be like Beth Twitty and make an entire career off her daughter. Worked for Beth. Casey can go around the country giving talks about the evils of letting your child ride around in a car trunk. Beth Twitty is giving talks about "safe" foreign travel for Americans. You know, like not letting your 18 year old, naieve/virgin/nondrinking/nonfornicating daughter go on an all inclusive all you can drink Bacchanalia. Seriously, there's money to be made off of dead and missing relatives.

It was George that wanted to make a career from the loss of the kid. He was trying to become the next John Walsh.

this entire charade was presented to us all to prove to us once and for this system IS corrupt and the word justice has been warped beyond belief. just look to washington and wall street for proof of that. that being said, i for one will suspend judgement as such a vibration is not something i want in my energy field. the whole thing just

it's always about the money.. pretty sure that bitch who birthed that child had to be drawing a check from the government...she was about 19 when she had her right? unwed, no known father and living with her parents, Heard there was a search on the computer about the uses of chloroform, vets use it to put animals under during surgery, here's what could have happened: this so called mother would put the child to sleep with this drug on a regular bases, put the child in the trunk of the car while she was partying, the last time she gave her to much and killed the child. she then left that dead child in the truck of the car until they came up with some way to get rid of the body, also explains the stench from the car.
That whole family was in on the cover up about the cause of death of that child. And why duck tape was found,it was placed on her mouth after death, that was a cover up for the real cause of death. Face it, a grandchild does not go missing for a month before normal grandparents would notice.
With so many unwed mothers having babies for money, why are social services not required to do regular follow up checks every few months on these government beneficiaries?
The child died from chloroform poisoning given to her by the mother, and it was not the first time she had used it.

Caylees body was hidden in the SPARE TIRE CASE in the trunk...the impound guy NEVER testified to looking in there....he went with the obvious, TRASH BAG!

Apparently the case was so shoddy that the jurors turned away from at least 4 possible murder sentences and found her gulity of what her lawyer openly admitted that she lied to police. No for 12 people to completly disbelieve every aspect of the Prosecutions Case shows you how much they beleived she was being railroaded to a death senetnce. Florida is for frying, thats why Snipes is in prison, why the feds tried to have Gotti go to Federal Court in Miami..

Its a new day for Floridians now that facts will overdie rumour and conjuncture.

And yes Caylee Anthony deserved better but in the Prosecutions quest for the death sentence they chose to abandon common sense and a sure conviction. YET ANOTHER REASON WHY THE GREATEST NATION IN THE WORLD SHOULD CATCH UP TO 2011 and ban the death penalty.

Watching this prosecuting lawyer now saying they couldn't figure out, didn't know of a motive as to why someone would put duck tape over a dead child's mouth.. obviously it was to fool you dumb asses into believing there was another motive and some other murderer. They botched all that up real good. excluding the obvious..The motive was a simple one to party without the child being in the way of her good time..

But they could have at least gotten a conviction, because there would have been less of a burden of proof on the prosecution ..Murder one in a case like that would have been very hard to prove.. I don't believe she really meant to kill the child.. she's a narcissist and they aren't capable of really caring for others, even if she gave birth to the child. I don't blame the jury, the state really messed this whole case up.. the jury was limited to going by the letter of the law.. I had not been following the case, but from what I have learned in the past several days.. I could not convict on a murder one charge.. murder one there has to be deliberate and planned intent to kill the victim..unless it's during a kidnapping, or robbery. First degree murder would have never been easy to prove in a case like this one.
