Normally a person comes to the house to ask how much water and electricity was used, write down the numbers. They want a smart grid, meters are part of it. A smarter grid wastes less energy. No sorry but you're a filthy Marxist liar trying to spew your crap. They have no right to be constantly monitoring what people do through their electric power. They have no right to be altering peoples power meters as they see fit to make themselves profits. Your car has a meter in it to see how much miles have been driven since it was build. You hate them too or you are used to it and do not see a problem? Why does every change make you people jump in the air and scream something horrible is going on? Are you even aware how much energy gets lost by the electricity grid and how most electricity suppliers advise a smarter grid that wastes less?
