did you watch the video, ac? he stated it is speculative. speculation does not require proof. without discourse on the subject, there will be no proof, ever.

However They've been going strong since 2004 (Opportunity)....that's a pretty big difference don't you think? [ link to www.npr.org] l'm only on p2 but felt the need to reply now, also Sojourner rover was Mars Pathfinder's robotic miniature Mars rover, and explored Mars for around three months. The solar-powered robot had front and rear cameras and several science experiments. It was designed for a 7 Sol mission with possible extension to 30 sols.It was active for 83 sols, until the base station had its last communication with Earth on Sept 1997 as far as l'm aware the drove it out of range maybe its still going top speed 0.4m min :) Pretty sure Sojourner was close to the area of said nozzle spray,will catch up on thread and get back..
